La calle en un pueblo pequeño y un poco abandonado como este, puede a veces parecer simple, pero puede también que de imprevisto se despliegue como un atlas diverso, incomprensible y algunas veces tan elocuente como para llegar a abrumarnos... I am a compulsive "opinionator" and also an obsessive "empiricist". So much of what I write cannot be considered as "academic sentences", "specialist opinions" or other such nonsense... No, all this I write is like "Being full of ideas and needing to pee so as not to burst due them" (I think I am unconsciously paraphrasing a Advaita Vedanta guru from whom I read something similar some time ago)... Then I dare to say things like "Street photography happens at the same time in your head and in your street"....

Soy un "opinador" compulsivo y también un "empírico" obseso. Así que mucho de lo que escribo no puede ser considerado como "sentencias académicas", "opiniones de un especialista" ni otras pavadas por el estilo... No, todo esto que escribo es como "Estar repleto de ideas y necesitar orinar para no reventar por ellas" (creo que estoy parafraseando inconscientemente a un gurú del Advaita Vedanta de quien leí algo similar algún tiempo atrás)... Entonces me atrevo a decir cosas como "La fotografía callejera sucede al mismo tiempo en tu cabeza y en tu calle"...

By the way... I'm having the time of my life captioning these photos! That's what I mean by "Street photos happen as much in our minds as they do on the streets"... I like to place those captions on the photos I share for my posts. I don't do it all the time, but every once in a while I need to "pee those ideas" (Yes, I'm sounding weird, I hope you can deal with it)... I place those titles as "added value" to my work published on #Hive as I think there is something of a "psychic confidence" between my audience and my "author self". Maybe that sounds a bit smug coming from a random guy taking street photos and writing weird stuff on a daily basis. But at the same time it looks me as something worth doing and something I really enjoy doing! I would call this "Creating for pleasure".

Por cierto... ¡Me estoy divirtiendo como un chiquillo colocando títulos a estas fotos! A eso me refiero con que "Las fotos de calle ocurren tanto en nuestras mentes como en las calles"... Me gusta colocar esos títulos en las fotos que comparto para mis publicaciones. No lo hago siempre, pero de vez en cuando necesito "orinar esas ideas" (Sí, estoy sonando raro, espero lo sepan soportar)... Coloco esos títulos como "valor agregado" a mi trabajo publicado en #Hive pues pienso que hay algo de "confidencia psíquica" entre mi público y mi "yo autor". Quizás eso suene un tanto petulante viniendo de un tipo cualquiera haciendo fotos de calle y escribiendo cosas extrañas diariamente. Pero al mismo tiempo me parece que es algo que vale la pena hacer y algo que disfruto mucho hacer... Yo llamaría esto "Crear por placer".

From time to time I question myself about the relevance of this kind of publications... Are this valuable or not?... Can this be of any use to anyone?... Then the word "expression" comes to my mind and I remember the eloquent and colorful ravings of "Antonio", a long time friend of our family, whose talents include being an excellent painter (especially watercolors) and writing in a rhetorical style sprinkled with poetry of yesteryear, which I find really exquisite... Then, among those things that "Antonio" usually says is something that reads more or less like this: "Every expression of the inner towards the outer world, is a thing greatly valuable, unique and worthy of being appreciated"... A poem, a sculpture, a sonnet, a dance, an invented aroma, a light unfolded through a kiss, everything that is created has a destiny....

De vez en cuando suelo cuestionarme respecto a la relevancia de este tipo de publicaciones... ¿son o no valiosas?... ¿pueden o no pueden servir de algo a alguien?... Entonces la palabra "expresión" se viene a mi mente y recuerdo los desvaríos elocuentes y coloridos de "Antonio" un amigo de nuestra familia desde siempre, entre cuyos talentos están los de ser un excelente pintor (especialmente acuarelas) y el de escribir con un estilo retórico salpicado de poesía de antaño, el cual encuentro realmente exquisito... Entonces, entre esas cosas que suele decir "Antonio" está algo que reza más o menos así: "Toda expresión de lo interno hacia el mundo exterior, es una cosa grandemente valiosa, única y digna de ser apreciada"... Un poema, una escultura, un soneto, la danza, un aroma inventado, una luz desplegada a través de un beso, todo cuanto sea creado tiene un destino...

Gosh, it has been an extremely hot afternoon, but I have enjoyed every moment writing this post and of course, editing these diverse and full of "street" photos... I hope you also like them and have had the "audacity" to read these lines a little rambling and a little delirious... But remember "expression" is the basis of the matter...
