Today around 11:00 AM I finished a couple of deliveries and had some free time, so I started looking at the strange overcast sky we had in town today. I say strange because the entire area above the town seemed to be covered with a huge layer of cloud cover—semi-transparent, uniform, and continuous—as if someone had spread a massive, very thin sheet over the whole valley. The natural light, however, was extremely intense and had a certain "metallic" quality. Seeing all this, it occurred to me that it would be nice to go outside and take some photos with that peculiar light, and just as I was thinking about all that, my wife's voice rang out shrilly from our kitchen window: "You should go buy some chicken and sausages instead of standing there with your mouth open, staring up at the sky!" 🤣... I immediately replied: "Exactly!" So I rushed to my room, grabbed my wallet and camera, and on my way back I walked right past my wife, saying, "I'll go buy those things you need right away!"... At the same time, my wife looked at the bag with my camera hanging from my shoulder, slowly raised her right hand, and flipped me the bird while making a face like she was furious 🤣... And that's how I ended up going out today to take photos on this strange day with its complicated lighting!

Hoy cerca de las 11:00 AM terminé de hacer un par de entregas y quedé desocupado, así que me puse a mirar el extraño cielo cubierto que tuvimos hoy en el pueblo, y digo extraño porque toda el área sobre el pueblo parecía estar cubierta con una enorme capa de nubosidad, semitransparente, uniforme y continua, como si alguien hubiese extendido una enorme sábana muy delgada sobre todo el valle. La luz natural sin embargo, era sumamente intensa y con cierto tono que podríamos llamar "metálico". Viendo todo esto, se me ocurrió que sería bueno salir a las calles y hacer unas cuantas fotos con ese tipo de luz tan peculiar, y justo en el momento en el que pensaba en todo eso, la voz de mi esposa sonó estridente desde la ventana de nuestra cocina diciendo: ¡Deberías ir a comprar algo de pollo y salchichas en lugar de estar así boquiabierto mirando hacia arriba! 🤣... Yo de inmediato le contesté: ¡Exactamente! y fui rápido a mi habitación, tomé mi billetera y mi cámara y pasé justo al lado de mi esposa diciéndole: ¡Iré de inmediato a comprar esas que cosas que necesitas!... Al mismo tiempo mi esposa miró el bolso con mi cámara colgando en mi hombro y lentamente levantó su mano derecha y me enseñó su dedo medio mientras ponía cara de pocos amigos 🤣... ¡Y así fue como salí hoy a hacer fotos en este extraño día de luminosidad complicada!...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
