I must look quite strange standing in the middle of a fog-filled street, with my camera's viewfinder pressed against my eye and rotating it to shoot horizontally and vertically in an almost compulsive manner 😂... I do this because it has always seemed to me that taking horizontal photos of streets is a bit like "photographing them as I see them," but doing it vertically feels more like "photographing them as I want and need to"; and the thing is, in vertical format, I feel I have a greater ability to include elements, compose more intuitively, and, in general terms, make better use of the frame's total space... So my street photos today for you here on #Hive are "decidedly vertical"... 😀🫵📷

Me debo ver bastante extraño parado en medio de una calle repleta de niebla, con el visor de mi cámara pegado al ojo y girándola para disparar horizontal y verticalmente de manera casi compulsiva 😂... Hago esto porque siempre me ha parecido que hacer fotos horizontales de calles es un poco "fotografiarlas como las estoy viendo", pero hacerlo de manera vertical se me antoja algo como "fotografiarlas como deseo y necesito"; y es que en vertical siento tener más capacidad de incluir elementos, componer de manera más intuitiva y, en líneas generales, aprovechar de mejor manera el espacio total del fotograma... Así que mis fotos callejeras de hoy para ustedes aquí en #Hive son "decididamente verticales"... 😀🫵📷

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
