I need to walk every day. Those days when I don't take a long walk are days when I can end up feeling pretty bad... So, my thing is "walking"... Occasionally, I might go for a bike ride, but walking is my favorite way to get around... Not to mention using our car or our old scooter; I only do that when strictly necessary!... Yes, over the years, I've become an obsessive walker, and the surrounding areas of my town, as well as its streets, are also ideal places for walking. So, whenever I can, I take my camera and go for walks along those rural roads that I love so much; these can be long walks of several hours, or a "round trip" like this one, whose photographic record I'm sharing with you today here on #Hive...

Necesito caminar a diario, aquellos días en los cuales no hago una larga caminata, son días en los que puedo llegar a sentirme bastante mal... Así que lo mío es eso "caminar"... Ocasionalmente puede que haga algún paseo en bicicleta, pero caminar es mi manera favorita de moverme... ¡Ni que hablar de usar nuestro auto o nuestro vieja moto scooter, eso lo hago solo cuando es estrictamente necesario!... Sí, con el paso de los años me he convertido en un caminante obsesivo y los alrededores de mi pueblo, además de sus calles, son también lugares ideales para caminar. Así que, cada vez que puedo, tomo mi cámara y voy a dar paseos a esos caminos rurales que tanto me gustan; estas pueden ser largas caminatas de varias oras, o un "ida y vuelta" como este, cuyo registro fotográfico estoy compartiendo con ustedes hoy aquí e n #Hive...

I don't come to these places just to exercise by walking; I also come to take photos; but I don't come here just to exercise and take photos; I also come here to think, to breathe... Many years ago, I learned that internalizing these spaces is a therapy that goes beyond the physical and brings me closer to introspection and, with it, to the spiritual... What for those around me is everyday; for me, it has become a miracle that occurs daily. Perhaps having spent 25 years of my professional phase stuck in offices, data centers, riding in cars, flying in airplanes, and wasting my time (my humble opinion on the matter, of course) in business strategy meetings, ended up turning me into someone capable of perceiving the magic of these bucolic spaces and also of the simple, worn streets of my town... I don't know how long I'll be doing this, but I firmly believe that I will do it as long as my body and soul allow it...

No vengo a estos lugares solo para ejercitarme caminando, también vengo a tomar fotos; pero no vengo aquí tan solo para eje3rcitarme y hacer fotos, también vengo aquí a pensar, a respirar... Hace muchos años ya que aprendí que internalizar estos espacio es una terapia que va más allá de lo físico y me arrima a la introspección y con ello, a lo espiritual... Aquello lo cual para las personas alrededor es cotidiano; para mi se ha convertido en un milagro que ocurre a diario. Quizás el haber pasado 25 años de mi fase profesional metido en oficinas, centros de datos, montado en autos, volando en aviones y perdiendo mi tiempo (mi humilde opinión al respecto, claro) en reuniones de estrategia empresarial; terminaron por convertirme en alguien capaz de percibir la magia de estos espacios bucólicos y también de las simples y desgastadas calles de mi pueblo... No sé hasta cuando estaré haciendo esto, pero creo a pies juntillas que lo haré hasta que mi cuerpo y mi alma lo permitan...

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
