I usually go for long walks through the streets of the town and also along its rural roads and mountain trails, during which I take a wide variety of photographs... And I usually carry with me (mounted on my camera) almost always a small 18-200mm zoom lens which is useful for almost everything.

Yo usualmente suelo salir a hacer largas caminatas por las calles del pueblo y también por sus caminos rurales y senderos de montañas, durante las cuales hago fotografías muy diversas... Y suelo llevar conmigo (montado en mi cámara) casi siempre un pequeño lente zoom con rango de 18-200mm que me sirve casi para todo.

Ectima lirides - This was a new encounter for me... I had never seen this species before (and I've been taking photos in this region for more than 20 years)... And I barely managed to take a couple of photos (quite bad ones, by the way) and it disappeared from my sight... As I had no idea of its genus, I had to resort to Yandex to identify it, fortunately I was lucky. (Source)

Ectima lirides - Esto sí que fue un nuevo hallazgo para mi... Nunca había visto esta especie (y hay que tomar en cuenta que yo llevo más de 20 años haciendo fotos en esta región)... Y apenas pude disparar un par de fotos (bastante malas por cierto) y desapareció de mi vista... Como no tenía ni idea de su genero, tuve que recurrir a Yandex para identificarla, afortunadamente tuve suerte.

Adelpha basiloides, commonly called "Spotted Sister"... Humm it's really a nice and relatively rare species, but from time to time, it provokes to shoot it with a gun instead of taking a picture, because it doesn't seem to be able to stay still for more than a second!!!! ha ha ha :-) (Source)

Adelpha basiloides, Llamada comúnmente "Hermana manchada"... Humm es realmente una especie linda y relativamente poco común, pero de vez en cuando, provoca dispararle con un arma en lugar de hacerle una foto, ¡pues no parece poder estar quieta más de un segundo!!! he he he :-)

This lens makes it very easy to photograph some medium and big insects at a considerable distance to avoid them to get scared and fly away (between 45 and 120 cms of working distance, it's quite good)... So that's the reason why I usually shoot butterflies from time to time...

Dicernna sp. - This is where my knowledge and the internet image search engines start to fail... Too many Dicernna species are practically the same!.... So I reserve final determination of the species, I'd put my money on Dircenna klugii, but I'm not entirely sure ... I welcome suggestions in case you have them (Source).

Another "Absolutely no ID" :( - this is a bit annoying!.... I guess I'll have to call in specialists, but at least I can share the photos for those who like to see them and maybe they can help with IDs.
