Sometimes these streets do not let you look very far, and you observe human figures coming and going without being able to see who they are. It does not matter if you know them or not because, when the fog makes an appearance, they are nothing more than simple human figures moving in the distance until they fade away...

Algunas veces estas calles no te dejan mirar muy lejos y observas figuras humanas yendo y viniendo sin alcanzar a ver quiénes son. No importa si las conoces o no, porque cuando la niebla hace acto de presencia, ellos no son más que simples figuras humanas desplazándose a lo lejos hasta borrarse...

And, when mornings are that dense, one can have the feeling of walking through a different town; as if one were dreaming one of those strange dreams where daily reality capriciously mutates and transforms into something different and bizarre... Then, it occurs to me to think that, for many of those indecipherable and ephemeral human figures seen in the distance, I surely am also such a figure, appearing impossible to identify through the fog, stopped in the distance, making small, incomprehensible movements, to then disappear as well, just as they disappear for me...

Y, cuando las mañanas son así de densas, se puede tener la sensación de estar caminando por un pueblo distinto; como si uno estuviese soñando uno de esos sueños extraños en donde la realidad cotidiana muta caprichosamente y se transforma en algo distinto y bizarro... Entonces, a mí se me ocurre pensar que, para muchas de esas figuras humanas indescifrables y efímeras vistas a lo lejos, yo también seguramente soy una figura así, apareciendo imposible de identificar entre la niebla, detenido a lo lejos, haciendo pequeños movimientos incomprensibles, para luego desaparecer también, como ellos desaparecen para mí...

It is curious, but the fog transforms everything, and what at other hours of the day is a simple street with people coming and going, on foggy mornings is a whole universe of "suppositions" and imaginary events...

Es curioso, pero la niebla transforma todo, y lo que en otras horas del día es una simple calle con gente yendo y viniendo, en las mañanas con niebla es todo un universo de "suposiciones" y eventos imaginarios...
