ABSTRACT GARDEN - (PHOTOGRAPHY SERIES)

Ccats.jpg

Okay, all these photos I'm about to share with you were taken during one of those boring afternoons when we have several hours without electricity here in my town (it happens almost daily here, by the way, and the outages can last up to six hours). The town literally grinds to a halt, and with a heat index of over 36°C and a blazing sun, going for a walk isn't always the best idea. So this afternoon, I grabbed my camera and spent some time looking around my garden and my mother's, which are adjacent to each other. And wow! I found a ton of things to photograph in these spaces!... When I do this, I usually opt for macro shots and close-ups, which allows me to capture many "photos happening" in very small spaces. I also wanted to give this afternoon's activity a more creative touch, so I chose abstract themes for my photos. And I really liked the result; in fact, I kept taking photos until the natural light stopped, and then the processing and editing work was also fun to do...

I love how you’ve named what you saw by drawing parallels with other things, such as the skeleton, the cliff, the fire, the jellyfish or the planets. These macro photographs are spectacular, and I think the one of the skeleton is one of my favourites because of the texture, although the last one with the light background is magical.

You’ve made the most of your time. I know that in Venezuela they always cut off the electricity for many hours a day and those hours can feel wasted or empty, but in your case you’ve made the most of them and done a brilliant job. Thank you so much! Big hug!🤗

Muchas gracias! Abrazo grande!🤗

Hi @avdesing friend! 😃... Thank you for your appreciation and support, I'm so glad you liked this macro photography!... Yes, as you know, power outages are unfortunately a daily occurrence here. But I always manage to make the most of those hours. This time it was taking these photos and escaping the excessive heat, but I also like to use those moments to meditate, as the house and the town in general tend to fall into a profound silence. I have a place I call my "transcendental armchair," 😂 and it's in the hallway of my mother's house. It's just an old piece of furniture in a corner, but it's a place that stays cool. It's good to meditate there, repeat mantras, pray, or simply observe my thoughts until they stop... Greetings and thanks again for appreciating this! 👍

Hola amiga @avdesing!...

Awww, thank you so much for appreciating this, @x-rain friend! 😃🙏 Let's hope my country soon returns to better times so I can go back to printing and framing my photos without going broke because of how expensive it is here! 🤣 Thanks again for this motivational comment!

Your temperature is 36°C? Ours is 7°C. Fantastic close up shots. I like the depth of your photographs at that close range that shows the details of each subject.
