Lately in my town, seeing a sunrise without fog blanketing the valley is a rare occurrence. So, I took these photos today on one of those mornings when we finally had a visible horizon early on, and it was possible to watch the sun slowly emerge, preceded by the twilight colors...

Últimamente en mi pueblo, tener un amanecer sin que la niebla esté cubriendo todo el valle, es algo que está ocurriendo muy pocas veces. Así que estas fotografías de hoy las hice en una de esas mañanas en la que finalmente tuvimos un horizonte visible desde tempranas horas y fue posible observar el sol aparecer lentamente antecedido por los colores crepusculares...

That day I realized there was a chance of a relatively clear morning, so I grabbed my camera and decided to take a quick walk to one of the rural roads to the west, one that climbs up into the mountains, and wait there for the sun to rise over the horizon. That's how I ended up taking these photos...

Ese día me percaté de que había la posibilidad de tener una mañana relativamente despejada de nieblas, así que tomé mi cámara y opté por hacer una rápida caminata a uno de los caminos rurales al oeste, uno que sube hacia las montañas, y esperar allí a que el sol despuntase en el horizonte, así fue como terminé haciendo estas fotos...

Looking at some of these photos, you can see patches of fog at low altitude and far from where I was. So, it wasn't entirely true that there was no fog in the valley that day; it simply didn't reach the western edge or evaporated before it did. This weather phenomenon is quite common here... But anyway, I managed to get my way and captured these lovely photos to share with you here on #Hive today!

Al observar algunas de estas fotos, ustedes podrán observar algunos bancos de neblina a baja altura y alejados del lugar en donde yo me encontraba. Así que ese día no fue del todo cierto que no hubiese niebla en el valle, simplemente "no alcanzó a llegar" hasta el borde oeste o se evaporó antes de llegar. Así de frecuente es este fenómeno climático aquí... Pero en fin, ¡Yo pude salirme con la mía y obtuve estas lidas fotografías para compartir aquí en #Hive hoy con ustedes!...

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
