A jsme tady. Pozůstatky první budovy leprosária z roku 1905...

Opposite the hospital building is the torso of a house overlooking Mirabello Bay.

Naproti budově nemocnice je torzo domku s výhledem do zátoky Mirabello.

And here we have the second leprosarium building, it was practically identical to the first one. The buildings are inaccessible, they are currently being reconstruction.

A tady máme druhou budova leprosária, byla prakticky totožná s tou první. Budovy jsou nepřístupné, v současnosti probíhá jejich zajištění.

There is not much green on the island. All water had to be imported here and a rainwater catchment system with tanks near the harbor was also used.

Na ostrůvku není příliš zeleně. Veškerá voda sem musela být dovážena a také byl využíván záchytný systém dešťové vody s nádržemi nedaleko přístavu.

And now we are at the furthest point from the harbor. We have about 600 meters to go.

A teď už se nacházíme na nejvzdálenějším bodě od přístavu. Zbývá nám ujít cca 600 metrů.

The return trip by boat took a little longer due to strong headwinds.
We also visited the town of St. Mikuláš and then hopped to the hotel.

Night came.

Cesta zpět lodí trvala trochu déle vlivem silného protivětru.
Navštívili jsme ještě město Svatý Mikuláš a pak hupky dupky do hotelu.

Nastala noc.

The trip is over. And with it the penultimate day of our vacation in Crete. We enjoyed it very much. And with Terezka.

Výlet skončil. A s ním i předposlední den naší dovolené na Krétě. Hezky jsme si jí užili. I s Terezkou.
