Jiffy and OTF Coach #215

Tiffany and my routine is pretty set during the week. We workout at ORANGETHEORY FITNESS and usually rest day is Wednesday. Saturday and Sunday when we do workout, that is where we take the advantage of driving further out to workout at different Orangetheory Fitness studios.

During the weekends or when we go on further road trips or fly out somewhere is where we get the best opportunities to workout for an Orangetheory Coach we hadn't worked out for.

This morning was one of those days we lucked out and didn't have to go far. We actually worked out at our former home studio, which is less than 15 minutes from home at ORANGETHEORY FITNESS HUNTERS CREEK.

Today, we worked out for our 215th Orangetheory Fitness coach as a couple, the 5th as a married couple and the 15th Coach since we came back from the car accident after three months of physical therapy.

It was a great workout and Coach Hernan is a cool dude who made the session a breeze to get through. I'm actually dealing with yet another injury, but it didn't stop me from burning over 700 calories and getting through each station from the floor work, to the rowers and the treadmill. I have to run at a 6 to 6.3 mile per hour speed and then powerwalk the faster intervals like the all outs, etc. I did powerwalk as high up as 12% on the incline, but maintained speeds of 3mph to 4mph to ensure I didn't make the hamstring pull worse. This hamstring pull is on the left leg this time around. Frustrating, but I'm still working out!

Jiffy (Jimmy + Tiffany) as we are known in the Orangetheory community have two more new coaches scheduled to add to our list before this year ends, so ending the year at 217, if all goes well! Perhaps we'll hit 300 in 2023!! Let's Gooooooooo!!!
