It's always a fun time to workout at an ORANGETHEORY FITNESS studio, but on celebaratory days like today's Christmas Eve session there is always an extra special vibe to it.

The workout itself was pretty good. I still burned over 700 calories and I managed to get through the whole session without any setbacks. I have workaround the new hamstring injury, but it wasn't much of an issue this morning.

We worked out at our home studio ORANGETHEORY NONA NORTH and our Heach Coach Mariah was subbing for the normal Saturday morning coach.

Today, Tiffany and the boys will be heading to CRANES ROOST which is in Seminole County where I initially moved to when I decided to relocate to Florida. Most years, Tiffa and I take the boys to either Celebration or Winter Springs on this side of Orlando.

This will be the first time the boys visit Cranes Roost and we are looking forward to checking out the festivities and lights there with them. Every year we also have either have Pizza or other Italian dishes. We will be eating at a restuarant where the owner has a few spread around Florida a few on this side and the one I was introduced to when I lived up that way.

Bonus, it's cold here in Florida which as everyone knows that is not normal, but it's the Christmas weekend and if you are a New Yorker like me, I'm elated!!!

This morning, Tiffa and I made sure to bundle up a bit before heading out to the fitness studio and wore our Orangetheory holiday socks we earned early in December during the annual December fitness challenge.

Took a photo with those who stuck around to commemorate the day. I'm now resting, watching some American football before getting ready to do our annual family holiday festive stroll.

Thank you for sharing your experience at the Orangetheory Fitness studio on Christmas Eve. It sounds like you had a great workout and burned a lot of calories, even with a hamstring injury

It's great that you and your family are able to visit a new destination for the holiday festivities and enjoy some Italian food together.
