Hey Hivers, how’s your first day of the month?
I just want to share one of the things I miss doing in my husband’s hometown, paddleboard kayaking. We were both beach lovers and most of the time we rent kayaks or SUP to explore the place. This perfect view for kayaking is in barangay San Isidro in Surigao City. It’s an exclusive villa of our friend and every time we visit the place, she would gladly lend her paddleboard to us. Honestly, I don’t know how to swim yet I’m so thrilled and excited to do the paddleboard without wearing any life vest! Late did I realize that it was not safe to do it, but I’m happy I did try it!

After the typhoon Odette that devastated most of the houses and resorts in Surigao, our friend finally decided to sell the villa because they already moved to another country for good. I kind of miss this place, because even if I don’t do kayaking, just watching the sunset while drinking coffee really relaxes our mind and enjoy the peaceful scenery. How I wish, we could have a place like this of our own.

How about you guys, do you love doing paddleboard or kayaking? I would love to read about your experience!
