Walking through lamb, mountains, music and poetry (English Spanish)

A loving greeting to all my Hive friends, especially to the Wednesday adventurers. On this occasion I come to share with you a beautiful walk that I made with my dear @aly.squid to the wonderful community of Cordero. The state of Táchira has 29 municipalities, one of them is the wonderful Andrés Bello municipality and its capital is Cordero, an incredible little town surrounded by paradisiacal mountains.

We went there thanks to our dear friend Margarita, who kindly welcomed us in her beautiful home with her beautiful family. I don't have many pictures of that, as Margarita is going through a very strong situation with her husband's health and because of the respect and love we have for her we were not able to ask her for a picture inside her house. But we did take some pictures in the street and in her small garage where we shared with her son's music school, who trains a group of wonderful children to play traditional instruments of Venezuela and the state of Táchira and the musical genres that stand out in the Andean region.

We went to share with them the story we developed to pay homage to the village singer Ali Primera and they delighted us with incredible songs. Older adults from the community also came and did not hesitate to share the songs and the process of reading and collective creation. We have been to this beautiful community many times and we have always fallen in love with their participation.

This time we were inside community, in a street that people identify as: La calle del Bordo. Actually what they are referring to is an impressive border that leads to an even more impressive abyss. But it is very common for people to confuse the word “borde” with “bordo”. Anyway, we were there on that abysmal edge with our motorcycle and enjoyed the beautiful view.

Margarita gave us a delicious lunch and I supported her with the drink which was a delicious lemonade. We shared with family and neighbors and like all artistic and cultural spaces this was an unforgettable experience for us.

We returned at the end of the afternoon with full hearts. We hope to return to Cordero soon and continue sharing with friends and community. This has been one more of the many trips we have left. I say goodbye for now and hope to be back soon to continue sharing my adventures with you.

De paseo por cordero, montañas música y poesía (Ingles Español)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, especialmente para los aventureros de los miércoles. En esta ocasión les vengo a compartir un hermoso paseo que realice con mi querida @aly.squid a la maravillosa comunidad de Cordero. El estado Táchira tiene 29 municipios, uno de ellos es el maravilloso municipio Andrés Bello y su capital es Cordero, un increíble pueblito rodeado de montañas paradisiacas.

Fuimos de paseo gracias a nuestra queridísima amiga Margarita, quien amablemente nos dio la bienvenida en su hermoso hogar con su bella familia. No tengo muchas fotos de eso, ya que Margarita está atravesando una situación muy fuerte con la salud de su esposo y por el respeto y amor que le tenemos no fuimos capaces de pedirle una foto dentro de su casa. Pero si sacamos algunas fotos en la calle y en su pequeño garaje donde compartimos con la escuela de música de su hijo, quien forma a un grupo de niño maravillosos para tocar instrumentos tradicionales de Venezuela y el estado Táchira y los géneros musicales que destacan en la region andina.

Nosotras fuimos a compartir con ellos la historia que desarrollamos para hacer homenaje al cantor del pueblo Ali Primera y ellos nos deleitaron con increíbles canciones. También se acercaron adultos mayores de la comunidad, quienes no vacilaron en compartir las canciones y los procesos de lectura y creación colectiva. Hemos ido muchas veces a esta hermosa comunidad y siempre quedamos enamoradas de su participación y amabilidad.

Esta vez estuvimos comunidad adentro, en una calle que la gente identifica como: La calle del Bordo. Realmente a lo que se refieren es a un impresionante borde que conlleva a un abismo más impresionante aun. Pero es muy común que popularmente se confunda la palabra borde con bordo. En fin, estuvimos allí en ese abismal borde con nuestra moto y disfrutamos de la hermosa vista.

Margarita nos brindó un delicioso almuerzo y yo le apoyé con la bebida que fue una deliciosa limonada. Compartimos en familia y vecinos y como todos los espacios artísticos y culturales esta fue una experiencia inolvidable para nosotras.

Regresamos a final de la tarde con el corazón lleno. Esperamos pronto regresar a Cordero y seguir compartiendo con amigos y comunidad. Este ha sido un paseo más de los muchos que nos quedan. Me despido por ahora y espero muy pronto regresar por aca y seguir compartiendo mis aventuras con ustedes.
