The literary route tells and sings the story The Wedding Cockerel (English/Spanish)

A loving greeting to all my Hive friends, especially to the culture lovers. Today I have come to share with you, the last stop of our literary route. This time we found ourselves at the headquarters of the public library of the Alberto Adriani parish, a place full of magic and charm where books come to life and dreams come true. With a group of wonderful children, we immersed ourselves in the reading of the story "El Gallo de bodas" by the talented Cuban author Lucia Gonzalez.

The story transported us to a universe full of color and fantasy, through a wonderful character, who is nothing more and nothing less than a cockerel, who dirties his beak by being greedy, shortly before leaving for his uncle El Perico's wedding party. The children listened attentively, their eyes sparkling and their imaginations running wild, as we told them every detail of this story full of mischief and teachings. On this occasion we also brought our musical instrument, the Venezuelan Cuatro, with which we nourished the story of Lucia Gonzales, with the beautiful song “Pico o no Pico” by the Venezuelan group Serenata Guayanesa.

It was wonderful because the children sang along with us and participated actively during the socialization of the story. After the reading, we immersed ourselves in a world of games and creative activities. This time we dedicated ourselves to coloring, we painted several origami roosters that we brought for the children and on white sheets the children overflowed all their imagination drawing several of the characters of the story, creating an atmosphere of joy and learning. The children were enthusiastic, actively participating in each dynamic, sharing their ideas and creating their own stories inspired by the story we had just read.

It was exciting to see how the children awakened their creativity and developed their imagination through literature. Every word, every image, every character in the story became a source of inspiration for them, which they captured in their drawings and stories with enthusiasm and talent.

But beyond the playful activities, what filled us most with pleasure in this beautiful encounter was the opportunity to listen to the children's reflections. They surprised us with profound comments, in which they talked about the importance of friendship, sharing and assuming responsibilities for life. This was definitely the most beautiful thing for us, because children have the ability to see situations from the intrinsic goodness of childhood.

Each space we visit with the literary route becomes a place for learning and personal development, not only for the children, but also for us, since children teach us all the time, with their innocence, their joy, their curiosity, their intelligence and their ability to imagine new and wonderful worlds.

At each stop on our literary route, we discover the importance of encouraging reading and creativity in children, of stimulating their imagination and their ability to express themselves through words. Each story, each activity, each shared moment becomes a unique opportunity for growth and discovery. And we are increasingly eager to continue and nurture this beautiful project of literary and cultural promotion.

So we continue to travel paths of letters and colors, of stories and laughter, of games and learning, in search of new stories and new experiences that enrich us and make us grow together. Because the literary route is much more than a simple tour through different spaces, it is an exciting journey into the world of imagination and creativity, where children are the protagonists and we are the accomplices in this wonderful journey of discovery and learning.

La ruta literaria cuenta y canta la historia El gallo de bodas (Ingles/Español)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, especialmente para los amantes de la cultura. Hoy he venido a compartir con ustedes, la última parada de nuestra ruta literaria. Esta vez nos encontramos en la sede de la biblioteca pública de la parroquia Alberto Adriani, un lugar lleno de magia y encanto donde los libros cobran vida y los sueños se hacen realidad. Con un grupo de niños maravillosos, nos sumergimos en la lectura del cuento "El Gallo de bodas" de la talentosa autora cubana Lucia González.

La historia nos transportó a un universo lleno de color y fantasía, a través de un maravilloso personaje, que es nada más y nada menos que un gallito, quien ensucia su pico por andar de goloso, poco antes de salir a la fiesta de bodas de su tío El Perico. Los niños escuchaban atentos, con los ojos brillantes y la imaginación desbordante, mientras les contábamos cada detalle de esta historia llena de travesuras y enseñanzas. En esta ocasión también llevamos nuestro instrumento musical, El Cuatro venezolano, con el que nutrimos la historia de Lucia Gonzales, con la bellísima canción “Pico o no Pico” de la agrupación venezolana Serenata Guayanesa.

Fue maravilloso porque los niños cantaron junto a nosotras y participaron activamente durante la socialización de la historia. Después de la lectura, nos sumergimos en un mundo de juegos y actividades creativas. Esta vez nos dedicamos a colorear, pintamos a varios gallitos de origami que llevábamos para los niños y en hojas blancas los niños desbordaron toda su imaginación dibujando a varios de los personajes de la historia, creando un ambiente de alegría y aprendizaje. Los niños se mostraron entusiasmados, participando activamente en cada dinámica, compartiendo sus ideas y creando sus propias historias inspiradas en el cuento que acabábamos de leer.

Fue emocionante ver cómo los niños despertaban su creatividad y desarrollaban su imaginación a través de la literatura. Cada palabra, cada imagen, cada personaje del cuento se convertía en una fuente de inspiración para ellos, que plasmaban en sus dibujos y relatos con entusiasmo y talento.

Pero más allá de las actividades lúdicas, lo que más nos llenó de gusto en este bello encuentro fue la oportunidad de escuchar las reflexiones de los niños y niñas. Nos sorprendieron con profundos comentarios, en los que nos hablaron de la importancia de la amistad, del compartir y asumir responsabilidades para la vida. Definitivamente esto fue lo más hermoso para nosotras, porque los niños tienen la capacidad de ver las situaciones desde esa bondad intrínseca de la infancia.

Cada espacio que visitamos con la ruta literaria se convierte en un lugar para el aprendizaje y el desarrollo personal, no solo para los niños, sino también para nosotras, ya que los niños nos enseñan todo el tiempo, con su inocencia, su alegría, su curiosidad, su inteligencia y su capacidad de imaginar mundos nuevos y maravillosos.

En cada parada de nuestra ruta literaria, descubrimos la importancia de fomentar la lectura y la creatividad en los niños, de estimular su imaginación y su capacidad de expresarse a través de las palabras. Cada cuento, cada actividad, cada momento compartido se convierte en una oportunidad única de crecimiento y descubrimiento. Y cada vez tenemos más ganas de seguir y poder nutrir este hermoso proyecto de promoción literaria y cultural.

Así que seguimos recorriendo caminos de letras y colores, de cuentos y risas, de juegos y aprendizajes, en busca de nuevas historias y nuevas experiencias que nos enriquezcan y nos hagan crecer juntos. Porque la ruta literaria es mucho más que un simple recorrido por diferentes espacios, es un viaje emocionante hacia el mundo de la imaginación y la creatividad, donde los niños son los protagonistas y nosotras las cómplices en este maravilloso viaje de descubrimientos y aprendizajes.
