Back in town again. A loving walk (English/Spanish)

Loving greetings to all my Hive friends, especially the Wednesday adventurers. A new week in which I am pleased to be with you sharing another wonderful ride. This time to our beloved city of San Cristobal. Previously I told you that I had not been able to leave my community because of the disasters generated by the rain. But this time we were encouraged to do it especially because we had an important goal, which was to buy the strings for our guitar.

Indeed, the roads were collapsed by landslides and mudslides, and we had to wait for a long time in some stretches to get through. But with a lot of patience and love we waited calmly for them to give us passage. While we waited, we were delighted to see the great beauty of two very important rivers in the region, the Torbes and Uribante rivers. The impressive thing about these rivers is that the Torbes River is reddish in color because in some of its most important points, has the intervention of a very characteristic reddish clay also in the state of Táchira.

On the other hand, the Uribante River is a river without the influence of clay, so its waters are a grayish blue color. At this point of the Troncal 5 you can see when these two rivers meet and their waters flow together without mixing. It is really a spectacle to see this and to know that after a long run, these two rivers join to form the Apure River. In the photo I was able to take you can see a little of this beautiful spectacle, not as much as I would have liked, because the stress of all the accumulated vehicles and the violence of some people who do not wait patiently and understand, are not a safe place to get off to take a picture. But I promise when all the danger on the road is over, I will come back to show you more.

Finally when we arrived in the city, we went to Plaza Los Mangos. A place that we have visited many times, but usually we do it at night in some cultural activities. This time we enjoyed the trees, the fresh air and as always a nice conversation. There we waited for my brother-in-law with whom we were going to exchange some things and when we said goodbye, we went quietly to enjoy a delicious coffee in our favorite coffee shop.

While we were there we ordered a delicious American coffee for each of us. You can't imagine how much we missed the rich coffee from La Gran Cosecha. But this was not the only thing we missed, we also enjoyed some delicious cheese fingers. We were very quiet, enjoying this space that is very different from what we usually find in our community, which, being a rural area, goes through different paradigms at a cultural and commercial level.

After that we went to our favorite music store, Date Musica. There a nice girl named Sandra took care of us, showed us the instruments and chatted with us a lot. Until we finally bought the longed-for strings for our guitar, which had been without strings for a few months because we had not been able to travel to buy them.

We were delighted to be back in the city. And we regret everything that the rains have generated in our beautiful Andean region. We also regret the lack of interest of the state to provide structural solutions to all these problems that have ended the lives of many people and continue to put many more at risk. We have a wonderful state, with a lot of natural beauty and we hope to continue touring it and of course, to continue sharing our walks in this beautiful community. Nuevamente en la ciudad. Un paseo amoroso (Ingles/Español)

Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, especialmente para los aventureros de los miércoles. Una nueva semana en la que me complace estar con ustedes compartiendo otro maravilloso paseo. Esta vez a nuestra querida ciudad San Cristóbal. Anteriormente les comente que no había podido salir de mi comunidad a causa de los desastres generados por la lluvia. Pero esta vez nos animamos a hacerlo especialmente porque teníamos una objetivo importante, que era comprar las cuerdas de nuestra guitarra.

Efectivamente las vías estaban colapsadas por derrumbes y deslaves, tuvimos que hacer largas esperas en algunos tramos para poder pasar. Pero con mucha paciencia y amor esperamos tranquilas a que nos dieran paso. Mientras esperábamos, nos encanto ver la gran belleza del dos ríos muy importantes en la región, el rió Torbes y El rió Uribante. Lo impresionante de estos ríos es que el Río Torbes es de color rojizo por que en alguno de sus puntos mas importantes, tiene la intervención de una arcilla rojiza muy característica también en el estado Táchira.

Por otro lado el rió Uribante es un rió sin tal influencia de la arcilla, por lo que sus aguas son de un color azul grisáceo. en este punto de la Troncal 5 puede verse cuando estos dos ríos se encuentran y sus aguas navegan juntas sin mezclarse. Es realmente un espectáculo ver esto y saber que después de muy correr, estos dos ríos se unen para formar el rió Apure. En la foto que pude sacar se alcanza a ver un poco este bello espectáculo, no tanto como me habría gustado, porque el estrés de todos los vehiculos acumulados y las violencias de algunas personas que no esperan con paciencia y comprenden, no son un lugar seguro para bajarse a hacer una foto. Pero prometo cuando pase todo el peligro en la vía, volver para mostrarles mas.

Por fin cuando llegamos a la ciudad, nos fuimos a Plaza Los Mangos. Un lugar que hemos visitado muchas veces, pero generalmente lo hacemos de noche en algunas actividades culturales. En esta ocasión pudimos disfrutar de los arboles, el aire fresco y como siempre una amena conversación. Allí esperamos a mi cuñado con quien íbamos a intercambiar unas cosas y cuando nos despedimos, nos fuimos tranquilas a disfrutar de un delicioso café en nuestra cafetería favorita.

Estando allí pedimos un delicioso café americano para cada una. No se imaginan cuando extrañábamos el rico café de La Gran Cosecha. Pero esto no era lo único que extrañamos, también disfrutamos de unos delicioso dedos de queso. Estuvimos muy tranquilas, disfrutando de este espacio que es muy distinto a lo que generalmente encontramos en nuestra comunidad, que por ser una zona de campo transita paradigmas distintos a nivel cultural y comercial.

Después de eso nos fuimos a nuestra tienda de música favorita, Date Música. Alli una amable chica llamada Sandra nos atendió, nos mostró los instrumentos y converso bastante con nosotras. Hasta que por fin compramos las añoradas cuerdas de nuestra guitarra, que ya tenia unos cuantos meses sin cuerdas porque no habíamos podido trasladarnos para comprarlas.

Nos encanto estar nuevamente de paseo en la ciudad. Y lamentamos mucho todo lo que las lluvias han generado en nuestra hermosa regios Andina. También lamentamos el desinterés del estado por dar soluciones estructurales a todos estos problemas que que han acabado con la vida de muchas personas y siguen poniendo en riesgo muchas mas. Tenemos un estado maravilloso, con mucha belleza natural y esperamos seguir recorriendolo y por supuesto, seguir compartiendo nuestros paseos en esta bellisma comunidad.
