Un gigante dormido sobre una firmeza.
Pero, quién sostiene a quién
¿la roca al sueño?
¿el sueño al gigante?
¿o el gigante a la roca?

A sleeping giant on a firmness.
But who holds who
the rock to the dream?
the dream to the giant?
Or the giant to the rock?

Parecieran distanciados:
animal y piedra,
como seres de mundos distintos,
pero los sueños y las rocas
son formas del mismo tiempo.

They seem distanced:
animal and stone,
as beings from different worlds,
but dreams and rocks
are forms of the same time.

¿Y quién despierta a quién?
Cuando abrimos el alma,
¿no despertamos los ojos de las cosas?
¿no despertamos lo inanimado?

And who wakes up whom?
When we open the soul,
do we not awaken the eyes of things?
Do we not awaken the inanimate?

Y la piedra, ¿no atrapa tu atención?
¿o la gallina o el árbol?
¿O los ojos del gigante despierto?
¿No se convierte en uno, los momentos?

And the stone, doesn't it catch your attention?
Or the hen or the tree?
Or the eyes of the waking giant?
Do they not become one, the moments?
