The Best Photograph I've Ever Taken

Greetings to all and happy weekend! Today I am writing to you to make my official entry to the challenge of the 309th edition of Weekend Engagement, a challenge proposed by Dr. Galenkp, to which I invite you to participate and let yourself be carried away by the different topics to write and explore what we feel. Today I will not make such an extensive post, because what these photographs make me feel is very specific, simple and at the same time perfect. I think the best photographs I have ever taken in my life have been of the main altar of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.

I have taken too many special photos in my life, without being a photographer as such, everything has been with my phone's camera, but always with a lot of passion when leaving a scene for posterity. What makes these photographs the best among so many beauties that my eyes have seen? Well the answer is very simple, they are the best because they represent a dream come true and a closeness to the sublime, to the sacred... I would say even a true closeness to God.

Everyone gives places like these a different meaning and feeling, but for me, it is the central altar of the Catholic Church, and you already know that I am a very believer. I said above that being here was a dream come true, but that dream is quite recent, because I started imagining it once I knew I would travel to Italy; Before them, I never in my life imagined that God would make me discover this place that I saw so many times on television. On this altar there is a lot of gold, sculptures of great impact, it is on the tomb of the Apostle Peter and a lot of history and blessings.

I gave a lot of importance to this place, I felt special and blessed to have the opportunity to be there, since it was a trip that I did not pay for on my own, I went exclusively to sing to God in the main headquarters of Catholicism and I even had the opportunity to explore areas where anyperson cannot enter, with that same excuse of being part of the celebration of the mass by singing. I felt in heaven and I took these photographs exclusively to show them to my mother and the people I love the most, although many already exist in books and on the internet. For me, these are better that I was able to take on my own and that I can share and explain my personal experience of that important moment in my life 🙏🏽

I say goodbye to you, thanking you for reading me and especially for supporting my content. All of the topics this weekend are very interesting and some more intense than others 🤭 but I would love to see others share the best photographs they have taken, so I will keep an eye on their blogs or you can let me know here in the comments if you decided to participatealso. Hugs!!!
