RE: A Birthday Amidst Grief

Hi friend! Yes, we decided to buy a small cake, and it truly brought me so much joy to see so many people show up spontaneously. That moment from nearly two weeks ago helped us start changing our routine; in fact, we’ve already been asked to sing excerpts from Mozart’s Requiem this Saturday at a mass commemorating those who lost their lives in the earthquakes. It feels like a good way for us to get back into the swing of things and contribute something to the community, because music always touches the soul.
