Outdoors or Indoors? | Weekend-Engagement 189

Hello my friends. I literally talked about this last week at Weekend Experience, only the theme I chose at that time was: What would you rather be doing instead of what you're actually doing this weekend? One way or another I feel a connection between the themes that Galenkp offers us, and the truth is that it makes me reflect a lot on my choices for Saturday and Sunday, in fact I have found that it is good for me to read these options on Friday or Saturday morning, because the reflection makes me make better decisions to take advantage of the time, something I had never considered before.

A week ago I confessed that I am the kind of person who prefers to stay indoors, preferably at home, but I have also spent a lot of time convincing myself that I should change my ways, because actually going out helps me. Last week I received an invitation from my friends to go to the beach, I really wanted to go, for years and still I looked for excuses to say no... I really didn't want to go, but friendships have to be maintained, my girl deserves more from me and I myself need to rejoice my soul with what the outdoors and nature has to offer, so this year I will try.

The best thing is that I had a great time outside, better than I thought I would. It was a magical day and I was willing to make it special, so I gave my best so that everything flowed peacefully. I'm still the kind of person who prefers to stay indoors on weekends, because here I find happiness, satisfaction, reflection and moments of peace doing the things I like most at home, I just have to understand that despite the tiredness that leaves us a week of work, weekends also offers many commitments, maybe not work, but of the soul, because family and friends are part of us. I will not be the friend who lives in your house every weekend, but I will share with you a very special moment, which are usually something eventual.

Today the same story repeats itself... It's Saturday morning and there is nothing I want more than to spend the day at home, watching movies with my girl and eating lots of yummy things, especially because the first week of the chorale was very intense, we were informed that we will have a tour soon and that requires too much work and concentration, in 5 days we saw more than 50 musicals, but back to the subject, today one of our good friends is getting married. Everyone who knows me knows that I am difficult to be found both on the phone and in person, and if even knowing this they chose me among the few people I could invite to their wedding, then I think it's worth being there, because it's the people who really love you and know how to wait. Don't get me wrong, I also tend to be a good friend to everyone I love, I just like my moments of solitude, that's where a lot of magic and creativity is born.

Anyway the best thing about weekends is that they bring two days, so my passions in the interior I can still realize them one of them and behave a bit more social the other day. I will happily go to my friend's wedding in a few hours and on Sunday I will have a chance to study, clean my house and watch TV with my girl, maybe eating a nice pizza. Life is beautiful, it always has been, obviously I got off track for very strong reasons, but I'm back, ready to recover and recognize myself.
