Ornaments Do Not Hide the Emptiness of the Soul
December is a time when people usually decorate their homes, the institutions where we work, the town squares and often even the people themselves, since all of these sometimes invite or force them to look festive. In fact, I prefer a thousand times to be attended by a person who is obliged to wear Christmas clothes, even if his face is disappointed. What makes me very sad are the people who want to project Christmas, those who pretend to deceive themselves with a lie that they are happy when their soul is crying; I understand that it is a way to try, but when the soul is empty there is nothing to fill it...
We all have a bitter Christmas, and many do not get to know a happy Christmas in their entire lives. But Christmas, beyond the Catholic meaning is a feeling, and like all the others you can not simulate, whatever you do you always transmit what you really carry inside, you can not fight against the tide...
Every day you say: "I am fine", it is good to do it, it is good to declare it, and it is good not to let others see you weak. In a way it's great to dress well, to perfume yourself, to leave the house and give 100% of yourself, that's what it's all about, but we can't fool ourselves with a life that no longer exists, we can't forget that there is a reality, because when you wake up from the illusion that you yourself have created with so many ornaments you will hit again against life.
Feeling bad is fine, but feeling empty? Wow, that's another level, that's a dead end that is best avoided with some realism and willingness. Feeling empty in December is sad, but at every corner you turn there is no future, there are only bad habits, lack of communication, people submerged in a pain so big that they contaminate you, but those people carry your blood. There are crossroads where you can only join the feeling or run away without looking back, it seems there is no middle ground. The answer is in each one of us, but the heart betrays us...

The decorations may help a little, motivate and so on, but in the long run the inner self will come to the surface.
The answers and the energy is inside us, our happiness is inside us, as inside is outside. When something happens in our lives, it changes us but we are still us with some modification.
Life transforms and adaptation is necessary. Always go forward Jesus, always, what is coming is better.❤️
It is good to pretend sometimes, as you say, one should not appear weak to others. But at the same time one should be aware of the truth and not lie to oneself.
Not only for the dates of December dear friend, I think that for any day of the year is something that is always important to show it, reflect it and not to be hiding a personality that really is not how you feel, in order to draw attention or anything, because sooner or later that emptiness will come and there will be no one to take it out. That's why life is one and you have to show it for what it is. Happy beginning of the week my friend.
