Today is a very special day for me, well, for us... As a child we always say that one day we are going to get married, it seems to be normal, but then we grow up and realize that life is different for everyone. In my adulthood I honestly thought it wouldn't happen to me, but here I am, putting the finishing touches to celebrate later with my family and friends.

2010

Hoy es un día muy especial para mí, bueno, para nosotros... De niño siempre decimos que un día nos vamos a casar, parece ser lo normal, pero luego crecemos y nos damos cuenta de que la vida es distinta para todos. En mi adultez sinceramente llegué a pensar que a mí no me sucedería, pero aquí estoy, haciendo los toques finales para celebrar más tarde con mi familia y amigos.

It will not be a fairy tale wedding, in fact it will be a very normal ceremony where we will sign an agreement with a judge and two witnesses, but this seems to be very important for all the people who love us; of course it is for us too, but there are so many years together that now it seems to be a requirement.

No será una boda de cuento de hadas, de hecho será un ceremonia muy normal donde firmaremos un acuerdo con un juez y dos testigos, pero esto parece ser muy importante para toda la gente que nos quiere; claro que para nosotros también lo es, pero son tantos años juntos que ahora parece ser un requisito.

It is beautiful to see all these pictures and realize how many years Jhoxiris has been in my life. In the first picture from 2010 we didn't even know each other well, she was just the girl who sang in the same band as me. In the 2013 picture she was already my roomie, in 2015 we were best friends and in 2017 she finally fell in love with me and we became boyfriend and girlfriend... (I always liked her from day 1) 😉

Es hermoso ver todas estas fotografías y darme cuenta la cantidad de años que Jhoxiris ha estado en mi vida. En la primera imagen del 2010 ni nos conocíamos bien, solo era la chica que cantaba en la misma agrupación que yo. El la fotografía del 2013 ya era mi roomie, en 2015 éramos mejores amigos y en 2017 se enamoró finalmente de mí y nos convertimos en novios... (a mí siempre me gustó ella desde el día 1) 😉

Soy una persona muy selectiva con lo que dejo entrar a mi vida, pocas veces me equivoco con las personas, y lo mejor y a veces peor de mí es que soy muy intuitivo. Este caso fue muy extraño, yo supe que esta hermosa dama estaba destinada a ser importante en mi vida desde el primer momento en que la noté, pero ha sido un recorrido largo hasta el día de hoy, donde finalmente una mujer desea casarse conmigo, tanto como yo con ella.

No todos los hombres consiguen a una buena mujer para pasar el resto de su vida en matrimonio, realmente es difícil, porque las mujeres de verdad se aman y se respetan así mismas y saben lo que quieren, lo valoran y lo respetan. My only regret today is that we will not have the physical presence of our dads. My girl's dad is recovering at home and my dad rests in peace, but our moms will be representing them, plus their love is so great that it transcends cities and even death... I still can't believe it, after 35 years, now almost 36, I'm getting married, and to the perfect woman 🙏

Hace un par de días alguien en mi trabajo me preguntó que cual era el secreto del éxito de nuestro amor, y sin dudarlo le respondí: "Amarse a sí mismos"... No podemos amar a otra persona si no nos amamos a nosotros mismos primero. Jhoxiris haría todo por mí, y sin duda alguna yo también haría todo por ella, y aunque siento que somos uno solo, entendemos la individualidad y respetamos el espacio del otro. Ella es la dueña de sus sentimientos y yo de los míos, aquí nada es obligatorio ni se deja en la manos del otro desinteresadamente. Literalmente el amor en pareja es como una planta que hay que regar para mantenerla viva, aunque suene trillado...

Lo único que lamento el día de hoy es que no tendremos la presencia física de nuestros papás. El papá de mi chica se está recuperando en casa y mi papá descansa en paz, pero nuestras madres estarán en representación de ellos, además de que su amor es tan grande que trasciende ciudades y hasta la muerte... Aún no puedo creerlo, luego de 35 años, ya casi 36, me voy a casar, y con la mujer perfecta 🙏
