Beautiful Throwback to Puerto Cabello, Venezuela

Today is #tbt Thursday! And this time I am in the place where it all began, my parents' house, my childhood and teenage home, but although it is nice to be here I think my body is asking for the beach every second of the day, I hope to make it happen in the few two weeks of vacation I have left. It is nice to enter the family PC and find pictures that I myself have left stored here in the past, like this little visit to the sea, where in fact we could not swim, because as always we went to that place for musical reasons.

¡Hoy es Jueves de #tbt! Y en esta ocasión me encuentro en el lugar donde comenzó todo, las casa de mis papás, mi casa de la infancia y adolescencia, pero vaya que aunque es grato estar aquí creo que mi cuerpo me pide playa a cada segundo del día, espero hacerlo realidad en las pocas dos semanas de vacaciones que me quedan. Es grato entrar a la PC familiar y encontrarme con fotografías que yo mismo he dejado almacenadas aquí en el pasado, como esta pequeña visita al mar, donde de hecho no pudimos bañarnos, porque como siempre fuimos a ese lugar por motivos musicales.

These pictures are from Puerto Cabello, one of the most beautiful places I have known in Venezuela, although I have not dived in its beaches. When we had our concert there we were in a very beautiful area, it was like a central hull, although I am not sure, but there were many statues of heroes of Venezuelan history and many sculptures and street art. It was a big square, practically endless where the sound of the sea and the Caribbean breeze caressed our manes. Almost all the people you see walking in the streets in the middle of the day and with a lot of heat are my companions of the coral.

Estas fotografías son de Puerto Cabello, uno de los lugares más hermosos que he conocido en Venezuela, aunque no me he sumergido en sus playas. Cuando tuvimos nuestro concierto allá estábamos en una zona muy hermosa, era como un casco central, aunque no estoy seguro, pero había muchas estatuas de héroes de la historia venezolana y muchas esculturas y arte de calle. Era una gran plaza, prácticamente interminable donde el sonido del mar y la brisa del caribe acariciaba nuestras melenas. Casi todas las personas que ven caminando en las calles a pleno medio día y con mucho calor son mis compañeros de la coral.

For my now wife and for my closest circle of friends, Puerto Cabello meant a promise, a promise to come back exclusively to have a good time and have fun, in fact I think I have been myself to blame for the time that has passed, two years now, and it was really a very hard season for me, since my dad's accident was one day after returning to Caracas and this year in particular we have had so much work that now that we are on vacation we haven't even wanted to see each other 😅 yes, just yesterday I was talking with my wife, my brother and my mom about a beach adventure, and we all agreed that Puerto Cabello would be the ideal place ❤️

Para mi ahora esposa y para mi circulo de amigos más cercano, Puerto Cabello significó una promesa, una promesa de volver exclusivamente para pasarla bien y divertirnos, de hecho creo que he sido yo mismo el culpable del tiempo que ha pasado, dos años ya, y es que realmente fue una temporada muy dura para mí, ya que el accidente de mi papá fue un día después de volver a Caracas y este año en particular hemos tenido tanto trabajo que ahora que estamos de vacaciones ni siquiera hemos querido vernos 😅 eso sí, justo ayer hablaba con mi esposa, mi hermano y mi mamá de una aventura playera, y todos estuvimos de acuerdo que Puerto Cabello sería el lugar ideal ❤️

These photographs are from the national tour we did to the center and west of Venezuela in 2022, two years have already passed and in fact here in the company we also have a pending promise to do a tour to the east of the country, but even the political situation has been another impediment. I remember that this small tour helped us grow as a group, and it was the first step among many wonders that happened that took us to the level of being able to make an international tour, with the same singers that participated here. I have uploaded several pictures from that time in Hive, even from Puerto Cabello, but incredibly I always find some picture that I didn't share before. I think I only used the cover of this post once, but it is so beautiful and representative of the feeling that I wanted to start with it and quote myself.

Estas fotografías son de la gira nacional que hicimos al centro y occidente de Venezuela en el 2022, ya han pasado dos años y de hecho aquí en la empresa también tenemos una promesa pendiente de hacer una gira al oriente del país, pero vaya que hasta la situación política ha sido otro impedimento. Recuerdo que este pequeño tour nos ayudó a crecer como agrupación, y fue el primer paso entre muchas maravillas que ocurrieron que nos llevaron al nivel de poder hacer una gira internacional, con los mismos cantantes que participamos aquí. He subido varias fotografías de esa época en Hive, incluso de Puerto Cabello, pero increíblemente siempre encuentro alguna foto que no compartí antes. Creo que solo la portada de este post la usé alguna vez, pero es tan bella y representativa del sentimiento que quise iniciar con ella y citarme a mí mismo.

We never know when will be the last time we will see someone or the last time we will visit a place, so I repeat what I always say, you have to enjoy every moment, every second. I am not love and peace, I get upset about everything and every time, but I also get over it extremely fast, maybe it's just that I am an impulsive person sentimentally, but I believe in forgiveness, in the opportunities and in the beauty that each person or thing can offer; there are already many sad and bad things happening in the world, we have to be light. If I do not return to Puerto Cabello, or if we do not return all together, I can say that this event has remained in my heart and in my memory as one of the best moments of my life, even if it has been fast, but even if I close my eyes I still hear the waves of the sea hitting against the rocks...

Nunca sabemos cuando será la última vez que veremos a alguien o la última vez que visitaremos un lugar, así que vuelvo a repetir lo que digo siempre, hay que disfrutar cada momento, cada segundo. Yo no soy amor y paz, me molesto por todo y cada rato, pero también se me pasa extremadamente rápido, quizás es solo que soy una persona impulsiva sentimentalmente, pero creo en el perdón, en las oportunidades y en la belleza que cada persona o cosa puede ofrecer; ya pasan muchas cosas tristes y malas en el mundo, nosotros tenemos que ser luz. Si no regreso a Puerto Cabello, o si no volvemos todos juntos, puedo decir que este evento se ha quedado en mi corazón y en mi memoria como uno de los mejores momentos de mi vida, aunque haya sido rápido, pero aunque cierre mis ojos sigo escuchando las olas del mar golpeando contra las rocas...
