Cada tercer domingo celebramos el día del niño aquí en Venezuela, esta vez cayó junto a la celebración religiosa y cultural de la Virgen del Carmen, por esta razón, digo que fue muy especial esta celebración, pues, son dos acontecimientos de suma importancia y hermosos, además el religioso está muy marcado en mi parroquia, puesto que el templo está bajo el patronazgo de esta advocación mariana, en este sentido veo una unión muy estrecha con el día del niño, ya que al mismo tiempo que esta Virgen lleva en sus brazos al niño Dios, los que profesamos la fe cristiana estamos llamados a cultivar en nuestras vidas las actitudes de un niño: confianza, alegría, entusiasmo, etc.

Los niños son una bendición para la vida y, por ello, una gran responsabilidad, aunque no podemos saber lo que el día de mañana sea de sus vidas, si podemos darles unas bases lo más sólidas posible para que tengan una vida lo más plena posible, pues, así como traumas de adultos son gestados en la infancia, existencias prósperas, sanas y exitosas se preparan en la más tierna de las edades, donde se puede contribuir en gran medida a darle una forma existencial a un vida desde sus primeros años de vida, esto se hace sobre todo brindando espacios y experiencias de crecimiento integral.

Every third Sunday we celebrate Children's Day here in Venezuela, this time it fell together with the religious and cultural celebration of the Virgen del Carmen, for this reason, I say that this celebration was very special, because, they are two very important and beautiful events, besides the religious one is very marked in my parish, In this sense I see a very close union with the day of the child, since at the same time that this Virgin carries in her arms the child God, those of us who profess the Christian faith are called to cultivate in our lives the attitudes of a child: trust, joy, enthusiasm, etc.

Children are a blessing for life and, therefore, a great responsibility, although we cannot know what tomorrow will be of their lives, if we can give them a foundation as solid as possible to have a life as full as possible, because, just as adult traumas are gestated in childhood, prosperous, healthy and successful existences are prepared in the tenderest of ages, where you can contribute greatly to give an existential shape to a life from their early years of life, this is done especially by providing spaces and experiences of integral growth.
