Entre los días que tuvimos de misión no pudo faltar la oportunidad de visitar el parque nacional que nos rodeaba, el del Cerro Saroche, que comprende 3 de los 9 municipios del Estado Lara, abarcando dos importantes poblaciones como lo son Barquisimeto y Carora.

Resulta que a escasos metros de donde nos estábamos hospedando podíamos hacer un senderismo junto con los guardaparques del sector, por lo que era algo que teníamos que realizar aprovechando la ocasión, pues, ya habíamos notado como a pesar de la aridez de la tierra y el clima predominantemente caluroso, la naturaleza nos regalaba paisajes muy hermosos. En algunas de las fotos que les muestro lo podrán apreciar.

Además de esto, hacer la excursión por el sendero del parque nos hizo caer en cuenta que son muchas las especies en flora y fauna que nos rodeaba, lo que para nosotros era un monto de tunas, por ejemplo, en realidad era un conjunto de árboles de diversas especies.

Among the days we had the opportunity to visit the national park that surrounded us, the Cerro Saroche, which includes 3 of the 9 municipalities of Lara State, covering two important towns such as Barquisimeto and Carora.

It turns out that a few meters from where we were staying we could go hiking with the park rangers of the sector, so it was something we had to do taking advantage of the occasion, because we had already noticed that despite the aridity of the land and the predominantly hot climate, nature gave us very beautiful landscapes. In some of the photos I show you can appreciate it.

In addition to this, hiking along the park trail made us realize that there are many species of flora and fauna that surrounded us, what for us was a lot of prickly pears, for example, was actually a group of trees of different species.
