Ayer tuvimos un encuentro entre diferentes parroquias eclesiásticas de la ciudad de Barquisimeto, y resultó muy interesante porque como reflexionaba con ellas, hemos escuchado que estamos en el mismo barco, pero la realidad es que no es así porque la realidad que vive cada persona individualmente y, más aún, cada comunidad es diferente, por eso, más bien debemos cultivar es la empatía de que aunque somos diversos, nuestras barcas son distintas, no tienen por qué ser distantes, por lo tanto, aunque no estamos en el mismo barco si estamos en el mismo mar y nos dirigimos al mismo puerto.

He aquí donde radica el trabajo de la unidad en medio de la diversidad, la creación y consolidación de comunidades y sobre todo la comunión entre diversas clases de personas. Por eso, quise dejarles esta colección de fotos del encuentro reseñado, ya que nos hemos reunido más de 500 personas, además de prepararnos juntos a la cuaresma ya cercana, hacer el ejercicio de la fraternidad, siendo la práctica de la misma muy oportuna.

We are not in the same boat ...

Yesterday we had a meeting between different ecclesiastical parishes of the city of Barquisimeto, and it was very interesting because as I reflected with them, we have heard that we are in the same boat, but the reality is that it is not so because the reality that each person lives individually and, even more, each community is different, therefore, rather we must cultivate is empathy that although we are diverse, our boats are different, they do not have to be distant, therefore, although we are not in the same boat if we are in the same sea and we are heading to the same port.

This is where the work of unity in the midst of diversity, the creation and consolidation of communities and above all the communion between different kinds of people lies. For this reason, I wanted to leave you this collection of photos of the meeting, since we have gathered more than 500 people, besides preparing ourselves together for Lent, which is already near, to make the exercise of fraternity, being the practice of it very opportune.
