El día de ayer fue superespecial para la Iglesia Católica a nivel mundial porque celebramos a Jesús en su divina misericordia, al parecer una simple caracterización de la divinidad, pero que en realidad dice mucho, ya que como expreso en el título de este breve escrito lo que nos quiere transmitir esta festividad religiosa es que si Dios tiene un rostro no es otro más que el de la Misericordia.

Desde muy temprano además de celebrar dos misas, en cada comunidad en las que la celebré se realizaron unas procesiones con el cuadro de la misericordia, como una forma de testimoniar que realmente como creyentes nos confiamos a este gran amor misericordioso de Dios y al mismo tiempo nos comprometemos a llevar esa misericordia donde sea necesaria.

Finalmente, como la fe es para celebrarla, por la tarde-noche parte de los ministerios de música de mi parroquia fueron a participar en un concierto en la plaza de la Catedral de la ciudad. Fue estupendo y aunque salimos tarde del evento nos fuimos satisfechos de la actividad, en especial, por la oportunidad de animar parte de la velada.

ENGLISH VERSION

Yesterday was a very special day for the Catholic Church worldwide because we celebrated Jesus in his divine mercy, apparently a simple characterization of the divinity, but in reality it says a lot, since as I express in the title of this brief writing what this religious festivity wants to transmit is that if God has a face, it is none other than that of Mercy.

From very early in the morning, besides celebrating two masses, in each community where I celebrated it, processions were held with the picture of mercy, as a way of witnessing that really as believers we entrust ourselves to this great merciful love of God and at the same time we commit ourselves to take that mercy wherever it is needed.

Finally, as faith is to be celebrated, in the afternoon-evening part of the music ministries of my parish went to participate in a concert in the square of the Cathedral of the city. It was great and although we left the event late, we left satisfied with the activity, especially for the opportunity to animate part of the evening.
