Ayer estuve en una celebración de un movimiento pastoral de importancia para la iglesia católica en su misión evangelizadora. Se trata del "Encuentro de Matrimonios con Cristo", que lleva 35 años de vida en Venezuela, precisamente la celebración era por su aniversario, donde es de resaltar que fue Barquisimeto el primer lugar del territorio nacional donde llegó de la mano de un sacerdote de Brasil, país donde existen más de 3 millones de personas pertenecientes a este movimiento de apostolado, el cual tiene como destinatario principal, como lo dice su nombre, a parejas que quieran poner a Cristo en el centro de su relación, por eso más allá de que estén o no sacramentadas, lo importante es que tengan esta intención.

La importancia de un tipo de apostolado de este estilo para la sociedad es evidente sobre todo si consideramos sus implicaciones positivas respecto a las familias, ya que con unos matrimonios estables y, sobre todo, lleno de valores existe el ambiente y terreno propicio para que las semillas que allí se siembren y nazcan, tengan un buen desarrollo y crecimiento.

Yesterday I was at a celebration of a pastoral movement of importance for the Catholic Church in its evangelizing mission. It is about the "Encounter of Couples with Christ", which has been in existence for 35 years in Venezuela, precisely the celebration was for its anniversary, where it is noteworthy that Barquisimeto was the first place in the national territory where it arrived by the hand of a priest from Brazil, a country where there are more than 3 million people belonging to this apostolate movement, which has as its main target, as its name says, couples who want to put Christ at the center of their relationship, so beyond whether or not they are sacramentalized, the important thing is that they have this intention.

The importance of this type of apostolate for society is evident, especially if we consider its positive implications for families, since with stable marriages and, above all, full of values, there is a favorable environment and ground for the seeds that are sown and born there to have a good development and growth.
