Calp | Expectations vs Reality | Oczekiwania vs Rzeczywistość

While searching for a file on my phone, I found some photos from last year’s trip to Spain. One picture that really caught my eye was from Calpe and its famous rock – the region’s landmark. It was one of those places I went to without much enthusiasm. A rock by the beach? That's it? But finally, it turned out to be one of the best spots of the entire trip (we saw quite a lot). The views from both the summit and the base were absolutely stunning, the constant screeching of seagulls, and an deceptive hike that turned out to be surprisingly rewarding – all of that really stuck in my memory.

Expectations < Reality!

P.S. There’s not much to see in the town of Calpe itself.

Podczas szukania pliku w telefonie natrafiłem na zdjęcia z ubiegłorocznego wyjazdu do Hiszpanii. Moją uwagę przykuło foto z Calp i słynnej skały, wizytówki regionu. Jest to jedno z tych miejsc, w które jechałem bez przekonania. Skała przy plaży? A na co to komu? Jednakże w było to dla mnie jedno z najlepszych miejsc całego wyjazdu (a trochę ich zobaczyliśmy). Rewelacyjne widoki zarówno ze szczytu, jak z samego dołu, niepozorny trekking w akompaniamencie permanentnego wrzasku mew, który dostarczył sporo satysfakcji zostają w mojej pamięci.

Tym razem Oczekiwania < rzeczywistość!

PS. W mieście Calpe raczej nic wyjątkowego nie zobaczysz, chyba że jesteś fanem kurortów.
PS2. Calp i Calpe - obie nazwy są poprawne.
