Storm’s End, Sun's Stunning Glory

This was the day after two days of typhoon, and look what I captured on my tablet—it’s so awesome and amazing, isn’t it?

It was the second Saturday of February, and as usual, I spent my time with the kids.

It’s always so wonderful to see them enjoying this beautiful mountain area—their laughter brings me so much joy, and seeing them learn about God’s goodness warms my heart even more

We played a paired message relay, and it was such a fun game! I also tested their knowledge about our lesson: "whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty", from Psalm 91.

After completing their assigned tasks, we took some selfies—especially since it was during a beautiful sunset. The weather was perfect, and the scenery around us was simply amazing.

Here you go—surprise! A stunning capture of a beautiful sunset right in the heart of these breathtaking mountains.

Meet these two beautiful ladies, Tyra and Hainel!
They’re just so lovely. You know, kids sometimes test your patience, especially when it comes to their attitudes, but I thank God for their lives. They are growing so maturely, showing respect and care for me as their big sister in the Lord.

And here’s my favorite little one—very clingy! Meet Kylie, the younger sister of Mikaela and Jeric, who are also part of our kids here in Bunhayag. I miss her so much, especially since she hasn’t been able to attend many Saturdays of our Bible classes.

Here’s a capture of their cuteness! They’re just so adorable, and every moment spent with them is truly precious. Even the beautiful sunset seems to shine on their playful silliness and charm.

More selfieees!😍
Look at us—quietly amazing! We even got a beautiful sunset perfectly in our photos. It was such a timely moment, and I have no regrets at all. Thank you, kids, for these wonderful memories!

And here’s me, floating on my own little ‘Cloud Nine’—don’t worry, I didn’t fall off!😄

Beautiful clouds, a perfect spot to capture the sunset, and stunning mountains surrounding us—it was just perfect!

I felt like a kid again, just trying to enjoy life with nothing to worry about. It felt like I was lying on a mat in the middle of the mountains, staring at the beautiful sky and the bright tomorrow that awaits—especially the wonderful future ahead.

Another fun moments with this cute little pie

Courtesy of my beautiful Hainel, who captured this so beautifully—it’s just amazing as it is! I’m always in awe of God’s incredible creation; it never fails to amaze me!

Finally, the story comes to an end, just like that very Saturday. I want to share a bit of a story—our driver, Kuya Junie, who used to bring me to Bunhayag for class with the kids, passed away so suddenly because of a sidecar accident. After the accident, he wasn’t able to wake up and was in the hospital for two days before he died on Wednesday at 4:50 PM. It was such a sad moment—Kuya Junie was not only a kind and dependable person but also a great partner in God’s ministry. God suddenly called him home, and it was heartbreaking for me because he had been such a good friend and ministry partner.
He was always just one call or one message away whenever I needed to get to Bunhayag, my boarding house, or the senior pastor’s house. That Saturday was the first one without Kuya Junie by my side in the ministry, and it truly felt different

Spending Saturdays in Bunhayag with the kids has been a mix of joy, learning, and unforgettable moments. From playful games and laughter among beautiful mountains and sunsets, to capturing God’s amazing creation, every experience was special. While we celebrate these happy memories, we also faced the sudden loss of Kuya Junie, a dear friend and ministry partner, which reminded us of life’s fragility.
Through it all, I am grateful for God’s love, the children’s growth, and the blessings found in every moment spent together.
