A Not-So-Ordinary Day with an Extraordinary Ending 🌈

Hey guys! I just want to share my experience from last Saturday.
So, here’s the thing—after our prayer meeting on Friday, I planned to go to church early the next morning to volunteer for cleaning. Since there was no Bible study or practice, I figured no other young people would be there, so I decided to commit an hour to clean the church on my own.

After that, I headed to Tabajan, where my group and I conducted our CWTS task—cleaning the surroundings and picking up plastics along the roadside. Then, we went to one of our daughter churches to celebrate its 4th anniversary. It was a busy Saturday, but I was glad that after everything, I still managed to catch a ride to Cabugan to help Ate Jean and the team with decorations. That was one of the reasons I was in such a hurry!

But before anything else started, I caught a ride with our senior pastor on his motorcycle to save on fare. I was already feeling a bit stressed—maybe because of my fully packed schedule for the day or the uncertain weather. It rained a little, then cleared up again, and I wasn’t sure what to expect next.

Then, something caught my attention—a beautiful rainbow! 🌈 Woahhh, I was really amazed. It stayed for about 15 to 20 minutes, and even when I arrived at the church, it was still there. That’s when I took the opportunity to capture a photo of it.
That rainbow made my morning so much brighter! After seeing it, my mood instantly lifted, and I felt ready to take on the busy schedule ahead. Sometimes, it’s the little surprises from God that make all the difference. šŸ’–

Moving on, I had to get inside and start my tasks for the day. But before officially beginning, I took a moment to visit the back part of the church, where there’s a beautiful view of the lush green rice fields.
It instantly caught my attention! The fields looked even more stunning compared to last month when the crops weren’t fully grown yet. Seeing how they matured over time made me appreciate the beauty of nature even more.

And last but not least—the beauty of it all. Of course, I had to take some selfies with the rice fields because why not? The view was truly breathtaking and so relaxing.

I’ve already tried sitting here while working on my tasks, and it’s the perfect place to focus. The quiet surroundings help me concentrate, making it easier to finish what I need to do.
But more than that, this is where I always feel God’s presence sustaining me throughout my journey. Sometimes, I find myself talking to Him through nature—acknowledging His presence as He comforts me through the gentle breeze and the peacefulness of the rice fields. It’s a reminder that He is always with me.

Here’s a quick capture of the day.
That was quite a busy Saturday! Let me also insert a little update on our weekly CWTS task—cleaning the surroundings. As I’ve shared in my previous blog, this is a 10-week assignment for us CWTS students.

One of my members was absent; she wasn’t able to join us. At first, I just kept quiet and didn’t think much of it—I didn’t want to bother her. But later, I found out she was going through something. When I asked her why she couldn’t come, she told me her grandfather had passed away. She had been exhausted from everything that needed to be done during the wake, which explained why she was feeling so sleepy. Hearing that made me realize how important it is to be more understanding. We never know what someone might be dealing with.

And I’m truly thankful for the other members who still showed up and gave their time and effort to continue this task. Even though it’s recorded, they still came, and that’s what matters most. Their dedication means a lot!
