THE MOOD SWITCH: A HAPPY PORTRAIT OF SANDRA.

Photographing my close friends tends to be the most enjoyed and memorable moment in my life and also business career.

This stunning portraits were created out of leisure but it’s main purpose was to help eradicate the sad moment she was going through at that point in her life.
She was going through sad moments all alone without reaching out to friends or loved ones and I was quite surprised she reached out to me instead and explained how she’d been in her feelings.

As a Photographer the best I could do was ask her to come over for a photoshoot. Being a photographer for over 7 years, I’m aware of the power of a good photo session and how it can help to lift dampened emotions. I knew well that with the kind of energy I exude while shooting she wouldn’t go home sad after the session.

She liked my idea, agreed and came over for the shoot. When the shoot started I observed she was still moody. That was my cue to launch phase one of my plan. I had curated a playlist I knew was sure to get her groove on (trust me you’d love my playlist 😊).

The music seemed to work pretty well, and there wasn’t really a need for phase two of my plan, but what I did was sprinkle some words of affirmations while shooting.

The shoot lasted for 2hrs and I was quite impressed with my ability to change her mood sadness to happiness.
It gladdened my heart that she didn’t leave with the mood she came with. I think that one takes the spot for one of the best moments in my life this year (for now though).
