Good afternoon to all the wonderful Hive community! 👋✨
As on almost every Sunday, today I went to visit my grandmother to spend some quality family time together. During the afternoon, I went out to the yard to look for a lemon for the kitchen, but instead of lemons, I found a marvelous surprise hidden among the green branches of the tree.
When I looked up, I saw a small, bright, dazzling teal/blue-green bird perched peacefully among the leaves. What elegance from nature! Without thinking twice, I quickly pulled out my phone to capture the moment.

To be able to observe it closer and pamper it a little, I ran inside the house to find a ripe plantain/banana. I returned to the yard, placed it on the wall near the tree, and patiently stepped back to wait for it to approach and eat.
Little by little, curiosity and the sweet scent of the fruit caught the attention of the garden birds.

Although unfortunately the little blue bird flew away before I could see it eat—nature is fast like that!—the reward was even greater: other very cheerful visitors arrived to enjoy the feast!

It was incredible to watch them share the fruit on the wall. These little moments are what make Sundays with family unforgettable and remind us how beautiful and connected wildlife is right in our own backyards. 💛🌿
