My first trips with my husband were a total torture, because it was the first time we were traveling with someone else and our things just didn't fit in one bag, so we had a lot of unnecessary things and above all weight to carry. So getting to the place where we were going to take the bus to travel or even getting off at the planned destination to then get to our lodging were the worst moments of the trip, so of course it was the part where we had to carry our bags.

Happily time fills us with experience and have a simple life of simplicity, so our efforts are now always directed to have less weight, less stress and of course less bags. After seven years of marriage and several trips made I can say that the last trip my husband and I made was great, but I'm not talking about the trip as such but the way to the destination we were going.

Surely you agree with me that carrying several heavy bags or even a big heavy suitcase is limiting, according to my experience it makes you not only uncomfortable on the road but also prevents you from being able to do certain things because you have to be aware of a heavy suitcase that you can not take anywhere with you. In short, carrying a lot of things is not always being cautious as many of us were taught since we were kids, but limiting and that's it.

On our last trip we took care to prepare our bags well to manage the space for only the necessary and important things, and that yes everyone carried his bag with him so that moving anywhere in any problem because the bags were not too heavy, between chargers for my phone, a book, toiletries and some clothes my bag that is actually smaller than average was comfortably comfortable to carry on my back.

As the trip was long and we don't like too much to eat food on the way, we carried something simple in a paper bag so that when we finished eating what we carried we could just throw the bag in the trash, and to cover the paper bag so we wouldn't get full of food because sometimes the bag gets a little sweaty it gets full of grease we put a plastic bag on it that we could also throw in the trash when we finished, before we used to carry toppers but this is much more practical.

Trips without too much stuff are a little more enjoyable, plus since we were going to my husband's family's house that made it even easier, we just made sure of the prices of everything so we knew how much money we had to have to take and buy food or whatever we needed there. But it's just a matter of even when we go to places we know or with people we trust there is always the Internet to find out what the prices are of the places we are going to and so on.

So it takes some time and requires some experience to get to this point of traveling with only the necessary and with a small bag, but I am very glad to have reached this point and to be able to get rid not only of the physical burden of carrying a heavy bag but also the emotional and mental burdens that we must be cautious and therefore carry a lot of things just in case something goes wrong. Because we can always make plans and make plans on how to solve situations without having to carry a lot of stuff on us.

Experience reshapes us and that's why your perspective about packing for travelling changed. I love your new style to go with less.
