Against the light

In a photograph
Against the light, with the sun shining
Where the world stands still
And in the distance you feel

The warmth of the sun invites me to dance
And its light comforts me with love

My senses open up to the sky
And I feel free, without fear

I feel beautiful, I feel very strong
And I feel capable of anything

I feel at peace with the universe
And I give my heart to it without fear

I found my place in the world
Against the light, with the sun shining.

Being against the light, in these photos I was able to think some things, it reminds me that the world is a beautiful place, but also full of shadows and pain. The light reminds me that I am not alone in our struggle and that I can find light even in the darkest places, also that I have to be brave and watch well.
