Wednesday walk around the Lone hotel in Rovinj, Croatia
There is something special about taking a walk in the middle of a busy week. During my stay in Rovinj, I found that the area surrounding Hotel Lone offered the perfect escape for a peaceful #wednesdaywalk. So, let's go!

Just a few steps away from the hotel, the atmosphere changes completely. The sounds of conversations and daily activities slowly fade, replaced by the gentle rustling of pine trees and the distant rhythm of waves reaching the shore.

The walking paths that wind through the forest are well-maintained and inviting, making it easy to spend hours exploring the surroundings.

What struck me most was the scent of the Mediterranean landscape. The fresh sea air mixed with the aroma of pine needles warming under the spring sun. Every breath felt refreshing and calming at the same time. The combination of forest and sea creates a unique environment that is difficult to describe until you experience it yourself.

The park I walked through is called Zlatni rt and it hasn't changed much over time when I look at photos from the past. Apart from the fact that now there is a luxury hotel Lone, a different way of spending your vacation, different people...

But the sea is the same. It is the beautiful Adriatic Sea, a witness of all changes over time.

The water was calm and crystal clear, reflecting shades of blue and green. Small rocky beaches and hidden coves appeared along the way, each offering a different perspective of the coastline. I found myself stopping because every view deserved a moment of appreciation. And I wasn't tired.

By the time I returned to the hotel, I felt recharged. What started as a simple walk became one of the highlights of my day.

Sometimes the most memorable travel are quiet moments spent walking beneath tall pine trees, listening to the sea, and appreciating the beauty that exists just beyond the hotel doors.

My Wednesday walk around Hotel Lone was exactly that, a simple yet unforgettable reminder of how rewarding it can be to slow down and enjoy the world around us.

Thank you for reading.
