Capturing Brankova street and the city center in Vranje, Serbia

Hello to all photography lovers! I hope you are visiting inspiring places and capturing beautiful photos. For me, photography is much more than capturing a moment. It is a strong emotional image that drives me through time, brings me back to some memorable moments, evokes nostalgia and fond memories. I mostly spent my childhood in the south of Serbia, in the town of Vranje, where my grandparents lived.

Since my grandfathers are still alive, from time to time I go to this town and walk along the well-known streets full of beautiful memories.

My recent evening stroll down Brankova street and into the city center of Vranje, turned into an inspiring evening of street photography.

As the sun went down, the lights of the shops and cafes began to glow, casting warm reflections on the promenade. People moved casually through the streets, some in a hurry, others pausing for conversations... People in this town like to talk a lot and often chat on the streets. Wherever you stop, you will hear the town's stories.

Brankova street awakened the most emotions in me because as a teenager I spent evenings and evenings here, with good company and good music.

The umbrellas that are here now inspired me to make a street photography, because they are in inspiring colors, just like my memories.

People in this town are creative, so you can see interesting street art. I came across two during this walk, but there are many more. One was painted on the occasion of the Days of Vranje event, when everyone enjoys music and positive vibes. It is held every year.

On the second is Bora Stankovic, a famous writer from this place, and on the left side is a female character from his most famous work, Kostana.

If you were to ask me how this evening was, I would say lively and inspiring. Vranje at night holds a special charm, vividness and reveals its authentic soul.
