A Wednesday walk through one of Serbia's most beautiful parks

Hello Wednesday walkers. After visiting the historic complex in Orašac, which I wrote about in my previous blog, our journey continued to Arandjelovac, where we like to go occasionally, especially because of one of the most beautiful parks located there. It is Bukovička Banja Park, a place where nature, art, and everyday life come together in perfect harmony and we love it very much. That's why I'm taking you there today on a #wednesdaywalk. 😊

The first thing that caught my attention and which I especially enjoyed this time was how incredibly clean and well maintained everything was.

Every pathway, flower bed, and lawn seemed carefully cared for, creating a peaceful atmosphere that invited visitors to slow down and simply enjoy the surroundings.

My children especially enjoyed watching the goldfish in the water.

And we were also all delighted by an old sycamore tree that was planted in 1867 by Prince Mihailo Obrenović himself.

It is, without a doubt, the most beautifully maintained park I have seen.

Families, couples, and groups of friends filled the park, each enjoying it in their own way.

My kids happily rode their scooters along the wide paths, laughing as they raced between the trees.

Every now and then, they would stop to refresh themselves with the famous mineral spring water that has made Bukovička Banja known for generations.

One of the park's greatest treasures is its collection of sculptures. I wrote about it once when I was last here. The park is like an open-air gallery, where works of art appear among tall trees.

What makes Bukovička Banja Park so special is also its atmosphere. It is lively without being crowded and peaceful without being quiet.

Whether you come for a relaxing walk, to admire the sculptures, or simply to enjoy a glass of mineral water in the shade, the park offers a memorable experience that captures the charm of Arandjelovac. Walking through the park, we came to a special place about which I will continue my story in the next post.

Thank you for reading.
