Maravillosa Park, a beach resort in Tabuelan, Cebu, holds a huge and significant place in our lives. This beach is the home of our birthday celebrations, family outings, and sudden family gatherings. We've come here almost a hundred times, and with that, this beach actually holds significant and unforgettable memories that we're all keeping deep in our hearts and minds. It's been a long time since our last visit to the beach, and this year we haven't been on a whole family outing that much. That's why, at this point in time, it just made me miss and reminisce about all the happy memories we've shared together at that particular place. It's a very special place for us, and I just want to share it all with you.

This is the main entrance of the beach resort, but here you have to pay for the entrance fee. Our family has been visiting here for many, many years, but we always enter at the very side area of the beach where, at that time, it is still free. We have been visiting this beach for a very long time, which we have treated as an amazing secret place. I say secret because, at that time, this beach wasn't that popular. Given that, the wonders of this beach have been gatekept for so long, and actually, we have consistently gone here before with no entrance fees at all. We just brought our own food and drinks, and we did not have to pay even for a single peso. Definitely, this was the best place for a shoestring budget and for those who wanted to save money but wanted to have a memorable beach experience.

Right now, it has become well-known to everybody due to the power of social media and was as well coined as the "Little Boracay." With that, we just came back here one day, and what used to be the secret entrance to the beach is already acquiring access fees. In short, we have been here ever since it's still a public beach park up until now that it's one of the popular tourist attractions in Tabuelan, Cebu.

This beach has been discovered and loved by many, including our family, because of its white sand beaches and crystal-clear, blue waters. That's why it makes perfect sense why people, including us, have been coming here again and again. To our family, being here in Maravilla means adding to our collection of memories shared with love, laughter, and joy.

I have really loved taking pictures ever since. So, when I had my first phone, it was always full since I constantly captured present moments because I knew that soon it'd be one of the best documented memories. I always put it on an album. As for now, these photos I'm going to share are those I lovingly took back then, and I'm just so grateful to see them right now because they made me have some flashbacks on those wonderful experiences spent with family. Even some of my photos stored on my current phone were actually taken 2 or 3 years ago because I still cannot let them go out of my phone since they hold a lot of sentimental value, but of course I already had them stored on a drive. At certain times, whether I'm happy or sad, I keep scrolling back to these photos to feel overjoyed or relieved.

As a loving aunt, I have never failed to take pictures of my nieces whenever we go outside. I believe it's the best thing that I can do to have them look back on their baby pictures when they grow up. I have four nieces and one baby nephew at the moment. These four nieces of mine have been to Maravilla Beach many times because it is usually where our family holds significant events, and sometimes their birthdays are held there. It's just so heartwarming to see these photos right now. I'm so happy that I'm able to capture these beautiful moments. When these kids grow up, I know they'll be very happy looking back on these photos. My heart pours so much love for these kids as well as Maravillosa Beach Park, which is the home of our family's beautiful beach memories.

These are my uncles, my father's siblings. I took this photo during the birthday celebration of my cousin's daughter. The only one who's not in the picture among all the siblings is my father, because he is still on his way at this moment to the beach from his work. Their smiles at being together and enjoying each other's company melt me.

This is my mother and father "mama and papa". My mother is actually a camera shy type, that's why I constantly take her stolen photos. On the opposing note, my father loves being taken a picture, and thus I always did.

Gladly, I have this photo. I actually have this moment when I sometimes feel shy and conscious of being photographed, especially in public places. But, luckily, my cousin insisted at this particular moment on taking me a picture, and I'm happy about that right now. I so love this picture.

We always play at the beach. Together, we will be playing tag or chase and having someone buried in the sand. Sometimes, the kids would come together to catch little fish as well.

My father and my niece are still so young here. As far as I remember, I took these photos when I was still in high school, specifically when we had our December family outing at Maravillosa Beach. These photos are just so beautiful to look at. A lovely photo of my father with his granddaughter. I'm teary-eyed; honestly, this is too cute.

Overall, I have deciphered how many memories we've made together at Maravillosa Beach Park. That explains why we always love to go back there over and over again if we have time. These beautiful photos I just shared with you today hold fresh memories in my heart. I'm thankful as well for my love of taking photos, I'm able to save these beautiful moments of ours. Actually, these photos are kind of blurry, I just used an app to make it clear.
