Entre olas y memorias / Between waves and memories
The sea is a ravenous beast, ever watchful. Stunning beyond compare, but perilous too. It devours without haste, claiming all in its way. With relentless power, it strikes until its will is done.
Standing on that malecón, watching the sea crash against the reef, seeing the water slip between the jagged stone peaks—it was a mesmerizing sight. Baracoa enchants in every way: its people, its landscapes, its rivers, its rural charm, its overall magic wraps around every visitor.
Today we begin a brief yet intense journey through Cuba’s “Primada,” exploring a few of its remarkable places. In this case, I share three images that captivated me—scenes from its malecón, from that ever-restless sea pounding the shore, from the humbling feeling of how small we are compared to nature.
It was here that my journey began, the one that made me fall for that slice of Cuba—a place so picturesque, where the soul of our traditions thrives, and where venturing into Cuba’s depths feels like stepping into a living poem.

I love these photos, especially the first one.
Thanks a lot, I love the first photo too!
They remind me of Impressionist paintings, very good ones.
Long exposure shots taken during the day can create breathtaking images. Thanks a Lot.
Nice wide lens capture!
Yes, the 18 mm was enough to capture the whole atmosphere.
