My second orchid...π
Hello #PhotographyLovers, today I'm sharing some photos I took of one of my orchids. As you've probably noticed, I'm fascinated by flowers, but I have a real soft spot for orchids and gladioli.
The first orchid I planted was a violet one my grandmother had planted in her garden. In December, it would bloom and be quite a sight to behold...
After having this plant, I discovered my fascination with them, and every time I see one, I want to have it, lol.
That's how I fell in love with the Mallow Orchid of the Earth (a variety that is planted directly in the ground), but I wasn't able to get one until recently. In my desire to plant every orchid I can find, I visited Topes de Collantes (a mountainous area in the center of my country, internationally recognized for the conservation of the area's endemic flora and fauna, a captivating place) and described the Yellow Earth Orchid.
This orchid variety is similar to the violet; they are grown directly in the ground, but with obvious differences in their flowers and leaves...
My Mallow Orchid plant is still very small and hasn't flowered yet, but I'm sharing the photos of the Yellow.
I hope you like it...
Greetings and blessings βΊοΈ.
