I love growing plants too. :) I have grown avocados and mangoes from seed. Also grown a pineapple once. I grow cacti and palms. I have an exotic plant forum (palmsnorth.com) with lots of information on growing all kinds of plants if you're interested. :)

Very cool! I've managed to grow avocado too and tried mango but failed with that one.

Thanks. My mango didn't last very long. Maybe two years. It was a difficult one to grow.
My mango died in a pretty early stage, could've been I gave it too water. Challenging.
I grew mine many years ago so I can't exactly remember why mine didn't survive. Will probably try growing one again. :)
