Buchanan Lookout

Buchanan recreation site is an old fire tower located outside of
Kaslo BC Canada.

It was a smokey day out from some nearby fires.

A 12 kilometer drive takes you up to the top of the mountain where you can access the tower. There are picnic tables and an acceptable outhouse.

There's also a paragliding ramp and multiple mountain biking trails to use.

A cool place to see when traveling the Kootenays. :)
