I Can Buy Myself Flowers

Photography has always been my way of capturing the little moments that make life beautiful. Through my lens, I try to preserve scenes, colors, and emotions that I want to remember and share with others. Aside from scenic views like sunsets, mountaintops, and other nature spots for my subject. I also have a deep appreciation for flowers. There’s something about them—their colors, their shapes, and their calming presence—that always catches my attention. Recently, I remembered that there is a beautiful place filled with all kinds of flowers, a spot that many people recommend for its relaxing atmosphere and picture-perfect scenery. Because of that, I didn’t waste any time and decided to visit the place with my officemates. Of course, I took the opportunity to capture several photos of the flowers.

For this post, my main subject is flowers once again. I just couldn’t resist sharing them because they were truly stunning, each one unique in its own color and form. The place I visited is called “Buwakan ni Alejandra,” and it is conveniently located in Sitio Bunga, Balmban, Cebu . It’s not too far and is very accessible, which makes it a perfect stop for anyone who wants a quick escape from the busy city life.

The moment you enter Buwakan ni Alejandra, you are immediately greeted with a refreshing atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can instantly feel your mind relax. Aside from the beautiful view, the fresh air is one of the first things you’ll notice. It’s cool, clean, and soothing—something you don’t always get when you’re in the city. What makes the experience even more special is the scent of the flowers that welcomes you at the entrance. It feels like stepping into a natural perfume garden.

The entire place is filled with different varieties of flowers, arranged thoughtfully so that every corner looks vibrant and alive. Tall blooms, tiny blossoms, bright petals, soft pastels—you’ll find a delightful mix everywhere you go. Walking around, it almost feels like being inside a living painting where nature is the artist. Each flower seems to have its own personality, and the colors blend beautifully, creating a scenery that is both relaxing and inspiring.

What I loved the most about the place is how peaceful it felt. Even if there were other visitors taking photos and enjoying the surroundings, the ambiance remained calm and serene. The gentle rustling of leaves, the light breeze, and the natural fragrance of the flowers made the whole experience feel like a retreat. For anyone who loves nature, photography, or simply wants a moment of quiet, Buwakan ni Alejandra is definitely worth visiting.

My visit reminded me how simple things—like flowers—can bring joy and comfort. Sometimes, all we need is a little time outdoors, surrounded by nature’s beauty, to refresh our mind and spirit. I’m really happy I went, and I hope my photos can share even a bit of the beauty I saw.
