Bohol: A Truly Amazing Destination

Hello dear Hivers,

Our Bohol trip was incredibly fun and memorable. We were able to visit so many beautiful places, and it truly became an experience to remember. Actually, it was my first time visiting Bohol with my family, although not all of us were able to come along—some are working abroad, while others had work commitments. Those who joined the trip were my mom, one of my older sister, niece and brother.

The first place we visited was the Mirror of World, and I was honestly amazed the moment we arrived. The view was absolutely stunning, and the place itself was very unique. I couldn’t help but feel excited and impressed—it was a great way to start our trip.

That evening, we headed to Alona Beach to relax and unwind. Of course, we didn’t miss the chance to watch their famous fire dance show. The performers were extremely talented, and the show was truly captivating. If you ever visit Alona Beach, this is definitely something you should not miss. After the show, we transferred to a bar by the seaside, where we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Our niece even got the chance to jam and have fun, which made the night even more special. After a long but enjoyable day, we went home to rest because we had another exciting activity planned for the next day—ATV riding.

The next day was the ATV adventure, and it was my first time driving one. It was honestly hilarious at first because my whole body would lean every time I turned, and I even kept drifting out of my lane. After a while, though, I slowly got the hang of it. Driving the ATV was so much fun and full of adrenaline, but I definitely felt sore all over afterward—worth it, though!

After the ATV ride, we went straight to the Loboc River for lunch at their famous floating restaurant. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. While eating, the restaurant slowly cruised along the river, and the view was breathtaking. Not only was my stomach full, but my eyes were also satisfied by the beautiful scenery. There was also a stopover where the locals welcomed visitors with a Tinikling dance. Tinikling is a traditional Filipino folk dance, and visitors are even allowed to join and perform, which made the experience more interactive and fun.

We also visited the Man-Made Forest, which was surprisingly cool and refreshing. The place is filled with tall, dense trees, creating a peaceful and calming atmosphere. You can freely take pictures there, but you have to be careful since vehicles still pass through the area. It’s definitely another must-see tourist spot in Bohol.

Along the way, we also passed by a unique house shaped it caught our attention because of its unusual and creative design.

And of course, the Chocolate Hills. That’s truly one of the things I really wanted to see, and at last I finally arrived and saw with my own two eyes the beautiful Chocolate Hills.

Overall, my experience on our Bohol trip was one of the best I’ve ever had. Bohol is truly one of a kind—from its breathtaking tourist spots to the warmth and kindness of the people. If I ever become financially stable, I would definitely love to buy a property there. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and feels like somewhere you’d always want to come back to.

Thank you for taking the time to read and see you on my next blog. May God bless us always!
