Hello friends, good vibes to all.

Greetings community, first time I show up here despite having so much time publishing in Hive in its various communities. First I would like to make a brief introduction, my name is Javier Eslava, I'm from Caracas - Venezuela and yes, I'm a photographer although my blog says otherwise. There are two styles that I handle, documentary and portraits but when I don't do either of those two I have fun capturing nature and inventing with whatever I can get, in this case with some toy cars. I don't live off photography, for me it's a hobby; the best in the world if you ask me, because it allows me to clear my mind, when I have my camera in my hand everything else is forgotten and I enter a moment of absolute relaxation.

But then why don't you publish more about photography? - The truth and I don't know if it happens to others, but I take pictures only when the desire or inspiration comes up for a while or because I simply have a creative block, the way I do photography helps me to uncover a little mind is abysmal. Macro photography is special because it is about capturing a world in miniature to bring it to a "realism" and thus play a little with your sight and with the mind itself. I choose this because I have to be careful with things, I force myself to see beyond, it's not about putting the toy and clicking, it's about seeing the result before taking the picture; that's why I enjoy this little world so much.

For these photos I use a Sigma 18-200mm lens, one of the most versatile lenses I have ever had because it is almost an all in one, I have from wide angle to telephoto which for me is comfortable because I don't need to have 2 or three slower ones. Obviously it will never be equal to a 50mm or a 35mm but I do consider that it does a pretty decent job.

"Not everything is what it seems"... and I have always found fascinating everything that can be done in photography, you can create images that at first seem to be nothing but after the editing or developing process the reality changes and end up being a totally different product. Some toy cars that finally look like real ones and creativity is a serious thing and thanks to photography one can put it to work from time to time.

I hope to be here more often sharing with you my work, so for now I leave you these pictures that I had saved for some time wanting to publish them. Finally I did it and what better than in this "new" photography community, at least for me. It is always good to open new windows for all those amateurs and professionals who want to share with others their way of seeing the world and things through a camera or a phone.
