(ESP-ENG) A morning of music!
Hello friends, good vibes to all.
One of these mornings I was surprised by the sound of some musical instruments very close to where I live, it turns out that it was the institution or band to which I belonged many years ago when I was in school. I took the opportunity to take out my camera and capture the moments and the combination of music with the martiality and bearing of the uniforms have always looked good in photos. It had been a long time since I had taken pictures in the middle of the street surrounded by so many people, but I had to, you can be a little rusty but you never lose practice.
It must be said that that morning there was a lot of sun and as it is known the sun is the worst enemy of photographers. To mitigate that I usually use a flash with the intention of compensating the excess of light and avoid the big shadows but in this case and not being such an important job I decided not to use it. A lot of editing and developing work is behind to lower the highlights, exposure and control a bit the contrasts, shadows and blacks. I think that in the end they didn't look too bad considering that everything was very unexpected.
Having an 18-200mm lens is an advantage because of the versatility it can give you, you can zoom in and take some wide angle shots or by moving a few steps away you can take some nice portraits as well. I thought a lot about that when I bought it, to avoid carrying several lenses because at times it can be uncomfortable and tedious to be changing lenses all the time. It's true that the result of a 50mm doesn't compare to this one but you do what you can with what you have. In fact that would be the only lens, different from the one I have, that I could buy in the future, it is spectacular.
These are the typical parades that take place in the streets in order to encourage people to go to a specific type of event or to celebrate a special date. Some photos that show that it is possible that there is more future than past in our society; music and discipline, that is what moves these young people.
