Captar la cotidianidad es algo que depende mucho del ojo que la mire, no todos vemos el mundo de la misma forma, algunos son más detallistas, otros más básicos, se centran en la naturaleza, en las personas, etc. En mi caso trato de tomar un poco de cada cosa, porque el día a día es eso, un conjunto de elementos que al final conforman el hecho de lo que es vivir. Esto fue una mañana cuando estaba haciendo un poco de ejercicio y aproveché y bajé la cámara para ver que podía capturar en ese momento y aunque la verdad no había mucho movimiento, básicamente por la hora en que fui, pude plasmar ciertas cosas.

Capturing the everyday is something that depends a lot on the eye that looks at it, not everyone sees the world in the same way, some are more detailed, others are more basic, focus on nature, people, etc.. In my case I try to take a little of everything, because the day to day is just that, a set of elements that in the end make up the fact of what it is to live. This was one morning when I was doing some exercise and I took the opportunity and lowered the camera to see what I could capture at that moment and although the truth is there was not much movement, basically because of the time I went, I was able to capture certain things.

La fotografía para mi es eso, ser capaces de mostrar lo que ocurre a tu alrededor con algo de gracia, es buscar que la cámara sea una extensión de tus ojos para que ella pueda, de la mejor manera, mostrarles a los demás tu forma de ver las cosas. Estas tomas las hice sentado en una banca mientras descansaba entre un ejercicio y otro, simplemente me dije: déjame plasmar todo aquello que estoy viendo en este momento. Creo que de una forma más académica a esto se le llama "documentar", siendo este tipo de fotografía la que más la atención me ha llamado en todos los años que llevo haciendo fotos.

Photography for me is that, to be able to show what is happening around you with some grace, is to make the camera an extension of your eyes so that it can, in the best way, show others your way of seeing things. I took these shots sitting on a bench while I was resting between one exercise and another, I simply said to myself: let me capture everything I'm seeing at this moment. I think that in a more academic way this is called "documenting", being this type of photography the one that has called my attention the most in all the years I've been taking pictures.

Y me llama la atención porque es algo muy libre, no tienes que estar pendiente de cierta iluminación, de la pose de los modelos, de que los productos estén bien puestos o de que tienes un limite de tiempo para hacer el trabajo. El documentalismo es de las muestras más reales de la libertad de expresión y aunque en este caso simplemente estoy en un parque, el significado siempre será el mismo. Les recomendaría que prueben este tipo de fotografía en caso de que no la hayan puesto en práctica, ayuda mucho a relajarse, expandir la creatividad y afina el ojo fotográfico, puro ganar-ganar.

And it strikes me because it is something very free, you don't have to be aware of certain lighting, the pose of the models, that the products are well placed or that you have a time limit to do the job. Documentary filmmaking is one of the most real examples of freedom of expression and although in this case I'm simply in a park, the meaning will always be the same. I would recommend you to try this type of photography in case you haven't put it into practice, it helps a lot to relax, expand your creativity and sharpens your photographic eye, pure win-win.
