caminar y recordar

walking and remembering

Hello everyone, I want to share with you my experience on Sunday, since I went out for a while in the morning to distract myself, that's how I took a walk through Plaza Bolívar in my hometown of Barinas.

Despite being Sunday, the square was desolate, very few people nowadays visit the squares, this tour took me back to my childhood, to my school years, because in front of the Plaza de Bolívar is the school where I studied my primary school, this school It is called Basic School: “Guárico State”.

As I would have liked to find the school open to enter and take some photos, the truth is that this is impossible because the schools do not open on Sundays.

Some of the memories that come to mind are that when I was studying at school, my friends and I would walk through the square and play with the squirrels while our parents came looking for us, but how strange today I didn't see any squirrels. And I wonder where they are. ? maybe they are climbing trees as usual, in any case I hope they are okay and no one has hurt them.

In front of the square is the cathedral church, it was also closed, for the public because it was already 11 am and the Eucharist in this church is celebrated very early in the morning.

After taking these photos I decided to go back to my house, because I was hungry. And besides, it was almost lunchtime and around here in the square it's quite difficult to find a place to buy something to eat on a Sunday.

That is an awesome looking school. The schools that I attended as a boy don't look nearly that nice.
