Erika what a beauty of handmade things and the most interesting thing is how this first day of March has celebrated the beginning of spring in Romania. I don't know this tradition, it's the first time I see it. I am getting to know it through you, thank you very much, I will never forget it.
The cutie (doll) is a handmade cutie made with wool and crochet fabric, the magnet is very funny, I imagine the exchanges of this type of gift between friends and family.
I don't think I would have kept the purse, buying little things to give as gifts and for myself.

I don't think it's celebrated outside Europe and only in a few countries in Europe. And I can understand the temptation :D
I have never seen this spring celebration before, it is different than anything I have ever seen in my life. I told my mother who lives in the US and showed her through your link the beauty made art by the artists in your country. My mom is a plastic artist, she loves art in all its forms and shapes.
