It is possible Erika, that the color blue generates calm, confidence, and freedom to the artist and that he wanted to convey in his work a landscape perhaps underwater because the blue is degraded.

I don't know what colors mean. I mean I know each one has some meaning and can have an effect on people, but don't know much. I just go wit what I like. But who knows what the artist had in mind.
